Look at all these pics. I feel like I just got my High School yearbook, cause we are already in the DIS yearbook. Cause Lou is great and he loves the dancing guys

BTW Lou, can you see my pics. Cause you made me a little crazy when you said only I could see them.

Sorry it's so big! And you can't see DH. Shame. He is a hottie. I DID print out the directions to post here, but I will have company fron tomorrow until next Friday.

Thank God it's not my MIL.

And thank you, Grammy! I loved your pics as well. Have I told you that my favorite color is PINK?

I'd love to know how to resize the pics and have them in my siggy. I'd also love to learn to do this all by myself like a big girl so I can show y'all my new house pics!

this one I just think is too funny. We went in Dec of 2005 and I had all these grandiose ideas of wearing cute little tops/capris and getting a tan. Not!! It was 40's - 60's just about every day. This pic was taken on our best weather day.

This is so Funny!!!!!!!!

Alright, the henna is going to my head.

You CAN see DH in the pic. You just have to scroll to the right. Although he REALLY doesn't look like a hottie that close. (DO NOT tell him I said that or I will hunt you down and beat you senseless.)

Can anybody tell me what happened to Mel's crackhead baby after they went to the emergency room? I totally lost track of the thread and I need to know if Tommy ever got sewed up, if Mel ever put her bra back on, and what ever happened at the doctor's office with all the cops! Anyone know what page I should look on or should I just give up? It was so much easier to keep up with the story on the Trip Report board!!

Sorry I've gotten so far behind -- I miss being in on the conversation!!

See if this works. Find any post by hauntie, I mean Mel, and click on her screen name. Choose the 'find other posts by' option. See if you can find it. If not try a thread search for 'crackhead' maybe...

Tell me about it. I am barely 5'3 and he is over 6ft. Try being the authority figure when you have to look up a foot!

I know that one! I am just shy of 5'3 and my oldest is over 6ft too. He has taken to patting me on the head and calling me 'cute' :rotfl: he thinks he is so funny. I try to catch him sitting down if I need to chew him out about anything.

Of course he is in another state now, but he has pretty much gotten to the point where I don't have to chew him out any more  .

Back from Maundy Thursday service. I was volunteer on projector. Fortunately, I am not on for this weekend. I don't volunteer again until next weekend. So, other than when I am up in the sound booth, now I am just like any other member of the congregation. Church gets to be church now. That's a good thing. It was hard to drive away tonight, but I had a peace about it because I know that it is for the best. No tears tonight. Frankly, I am still more concerned about that girl. I would say that she was in the 4th or 5th grade... waaayyyy too young to be coming home to an empty house in my opinion. That is just my opinion though. I know it wasn't my fault that she got hurt, but I feel like it was or if maybe I had been in some other place at the time it wouldn't have happened at all, KWIM? So, I just feel terrible and I am worried about her not having anyone home with her. It had to be close to 6 the last time I drove by and there were no signs of life at the house.
:scared:

Tink - you are cracking me up. Yes, the pic is big, but who am I to say. I did know to scroll over and see your hubby. I think he is cute even up close. :thumbsup2

I need to go back and see who else posted. I haven't gotten caught up yet.
I've been :smokin: :woohoo: :surfweb: :stir: The normal stuff. Plus trying to catch up on the trip reports.

LMAO, HayleyB!

My DS is 11 and he is just about to pass my 5'2" butt up. I noticed yesterday that his eyebrows and "peach fuzz" are getting very thick. He looks just like his great grandfather, who was 6'5". EEK!

Unfortunately, I still have to chew mine out. It kills me, though, because he looks so much like his dad did when I fell in love with him.

UMMMN...I hope that didn't sound creepy dee to anyone. EEEW.

Javamom--What do you mean you can't teach her years worth of information in just a few hours? I often times wonder what happens to people's common sense sometimes. When I left my corporate job (to become a teacher) they wanted me to train my replacement in two days. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: At least she knew where the bathrooms were before I left. And about the girl...that's heartbreaking to me...but more common than we're probably aware of...kids being left alone like that. Thank goodness you stopped and helped her out. I'd be like you, though. I'd want some closure....just to be sure she was okay. But I guess that has to wait for now.

Tink38--Your picture was so cool. What a great looking family.

Java - Just went back to see what was going on with you. Geez, I don't know what to say. It is really scary that she went with you. But I can see a child thinking you are OK. But the next person might not be. Geez, you never know what the parents reaction will be either. They could be mad at her, or you, or think you are in their business. But I would be worried about her too. Plus she has been alone for about 3 hours. That is a long time. I have no advice, cause I am not sure what to tell you. :confused3

There are ROACHES crawling all over the next door nieghbour's house. And wasp spray is not killing them. EEEWW.

I need to take a bath, except I can't. The only tub in the rental is in Richard's (DS) bathroom. The glaze is gone and no matter how hard I scrub I cannot get the dirt out. Ick. A shower is NOT going to cut it. I need my new tub!!!!

Well I left you all for a bit to post another chapter on my trip report. I can't rely on horsegirl forever to keep me on page one, but I'll take what I can get. I am committed to doing it all the way I want it done but wheew, life can get in the way of Dis-ing!

Grammy, I want to move next door to you. Please write a book so i can buy it for my friends. I nearly fell on the floor on this one:
I've been :smokin: :woohoo: :surfweb: :stir: The normal stuff

I love every one of your pics! Mississippi Tink with the red hair, warm smile, hot hubby, cute son (my DS just turned 12!); Grammy with the pink head and beautiful granddaughter and mom; buxom beauty of a bride Brandi; Sheri and her sisters I mean daughters; all of you are funfunfun and easy on the eyes. :grouphug:

Horsegirl, we better see a pic soon or we will have to use the one from your siggie and I bet you look better than that :rotfl2: :rotfl2: .

DS12 needs prayers and hugs goodnight. I hope :goodvibes he'll always want that!

LMAO, jamal! I just told DH he was referred to as "hot". He thinks he is cool now. Jeez. He'll never shut up now.

:offtopic: I miss Mel. And Wobin.

I'm driving my co-workers  at work by saying "when I go to Florida....". I just love dropping that into conversations

BTW - Those drinks are the best. A little strong but at first but then oh so yummy :thumbsup2 . I had mine at OHanas on our last trip but since they changed the menu I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to have one during one our next 2 trips or not. "see how I snuck that in there :rotfl2: "
