After Christmas, I am going to have to get on the bandwagon myself. I am going to do WW though. It is the only thing that has ever worked for me. And, of course, mine isn't as health driven as your situation. But I will be there for ya!

DH just called me and on top of everything else....he slept on an air mattress last night and now his back is hurt. Now, for most people not a big deal, but he has had major back surgery and was told that he has another disc that could go at any time. He has to be very careful with what he does. Do men lose their ability to think sometimes?

Something that I wouldn't clean or cook with. That seems to be the type of gift that I usually receive...

I'd like a mix, I think. Something to munch on, something to look at.........maybe a Disney ornament...........maybe something relaxing......candles or something.

I LOVE music boxes and snowglobes, but they are WAY more expensive than our exchange amount.

I like your idea.....I LOVE Christmas ornaments. My mom has an all red and gold tree and while it is beautiful, it looks so impersonal to me. Mine is all a mishmash of stuff the kids have made, some Hallmark ornaments, and various others that I have picked up here and there.....I like mine much much better.

Yes, all our ornaments mean something to us. We either brought it from Disney or bought it for some reason or the kids made it, or it was given to me. I get an ornament a year from one of my students usually...........I love them. I put them up every year and remember that child.

Each of our boys chooses an ornament each year that means something to him. I write his name and the year on the bottom. They will have those when they have their own trees.
