Okay, I'm home. And I'm stuffed!! We got rained on, too. I'm glad to be back. So, what's going on this evening?

I don't want to intrude on any conversations already ongoing on the CAHTTERS but to just try and give you the condensed version of today.

My DS is in Scotland at the University and I know he is getting horribly homesick. He left June...anyway...he walked into their suite kitchen and a SCOT student was telling other international students that 9/11 was outstanding and he was glad all those people died in the WTC. Welllll, wrong thing to say to DS as my DH survived the bombing (his office was on the 62nd floor of the South Tower)(DH lost 72 fabulous Port Authority Engineers that day FIVE of which were his best friends). It devastated DH and our entire family.

DS got into an enormous confrontation with this young man and called the house CRYING. DS is 20yo...he has not cried SINCE 9/11 when we could not find DH!!!

My older DS calmed him down and after 40 minutes with all of us on the phone he was finally calm. I know his course load is intense...pre-med and he is missing us...so all that combined...had him react the way he did. He is fine BUT I am still very upset about it all.

BTW: DS comes home NEXT Friday for one week and then returns. So that is POSITIVE.

OKAY....now please, back to your regularly scheduled TOPIC...

I am feeling good that I am here on the DIS and enjoying all your company!!! All my cousins

Uhhh....I believe I acknowledged that on the other thread

Actually, I saw it as it was being changed. First the TF just added a tag up top that said "As you wish" then started changing it to mouseketeer. It was cool. I was present when your tag was born!

I'm a little worried. I thought this thread was for angry fedoras but I must have been mistaken. I don't see anything about irate chapeau Carry on. Make it work.
