Exactly, she always tries to one up me!

I hate that. I always drop out of those contests. I am pretty good most of the time, but there are times I get down.............I don't need anyone telling me my probs aren't important at those times................

Sorry, but my brother does this ALL the time. No matter WHAT I say, he is worse off. He is the hardest working, brokest person in the world. If I say I'm tired and worked hard all week, he says he hasn't has a day off in 22 days...which is mularkey btw!!

He is so bad we named it!! If Dd does this to me, I say don't do an uncle V, or she'll say, I'm not trying to do an uncle V, but.....

The worst is when you're in the middle of saying something and you get interrupted to hear how the exact same thing happened to them or much worse. Yada, yada....just shut up and be a good listener. As I tell the little ones....make sure you use your good listening ears. More adults need to do this.

The one-upping comes from people who have to be the center of attention - drives me nuts, that said, though, I am an optomist and when things go wrong I tend to think back to when I almost lost my youngest. I believe nothing could be worse than loosing a child and no matter what happens' I've been blessed.

There's one lady at work............I won't tell her ANYTHING health related 'cause then she starts going off about her stuff. And I know she's had things happen, but she talks about it all the time. If I need to talk about mine, just listen please...................

I know...I have learned to stay away from people like this,too! They have the ME ME complex. Ughhh...this one teacher I used to work with was the worst. Just thinking about her makes me gag.

This one time was so funny. I have anxiety issues, and I get a lot of physical stuff from it. Well, one thing I get is hives........often. Sometimes daily. She started getting hives out of the blue. Each time, she'd go show everyone, even pulling her shirt up and such and complaining loud and long. This went on for several months, and one day we're in a meeting, and got hives and kept rubbing one leg against another. My principal asked if I was okay, and I mentioned the hives. She looked at me and said, " You get hives?" I said, "Yes, often." She said, "I never knew that", and I said, "Because I don't think everybody needs to know"..........you should've seen the look on her face!

I completely understand. You can never be too careful. And some things that are personal should only be shared as you feel comfortable!

I have been having panic attacks just the last few months, and insomnia until a few night ago. Had my first ulcer at 12 though, so I think I have always been this way.
