Well, you know many people come on the DIS and talk to each other and get some fabulous advice from just chatting back and forth esp when there are issues such as yours with mom!

PAige, the sentence I highlighted..have you only felt this way since the accident...or before...because from what you have said in re: to the accident, it sounds as though everyone involved in the accident should be sort of relieved that they basically are okay...I know you said mom still struggles with her hips but still she is here and managing...but I am still leaning towards depression.

I am worried about depression too, but my brother says she's okay........and another dr. told her (well, she told me the dr. said) that she's handling it normally.

Um, there have always been issues with my family. I am feeling a little bit too out there for my comfort now...........but I already posted multiple times there, so if you want to, it's there for anyone to see.

Unusual for me to do that..........I was pretty sick when I was posting those and trying to help that girl.

Thanks! I bought the dolphins off a wedding site and added them to the cake myself. That includes the topper as well. We had a beach/dolphin theme wedding. Lucklily at the time DH worked at the aquarium so we got to use the room for free which is normally about $500. :cool1: :cool1:

I am going to read that Thread and see if I can offer up some positive advice like you stated!!! Everyone needs positive reinforcement and sometimes daily.

I will tell you my dad was diagnosed this past year with depression and finally we got him on the Zoloft...can I tell you I have my dad BACK after years of this hanging over his head and resulting in all of us backing away from dad because of his depression AND none of us knew he was depressed....

I forgot about the flip flop pic. I had a lot of trouble finding shoes to go with the dress so I just wore those old shoes. I was a lot more comfy than my sis and friends! I forgot they were wearing heels and I was running to get to the place to do the pics and they were yelling to slow down. That pretty pinky toe is destined to be purple 4 days later after I kicked a dolphin on his snout. He scared me coming up behind me. It was a foot push and I wasnt expecting them to be behind me so quickly. I flinches and spasmed, they backed off, then wam! they were pushing me. I HATE the foot push but the resy was fun! Thanks for all the compliments!

If you are interested in being part of the Mad Chatter Christmas Gift Exchange...(and I hope a lot of us are:))

1. PM me by October 31 (deadline to join exchange). Info needed will be name/home address/email. Also your favorite color, animal, character and an idea of a few things in life that really make you happy. You will have the name of your "secret chatter" by November 3.

2. A basic guideline for price range is $25.

3. On the sly find out just what would make your secret chatter's day...shop for your secret chatter and mail your gift off by November 30.

4. Be on the lookout for the "party" date. Everyone who is in on the exchange (and even those who are not) can gather for some tasty cyber tea and Christmas cookies and we can open our gifts together and post our thank yous!! This date has yet to be set but will be at a time that works for the most exchange chatters. We are aiming in the week to two before Christmas time frame.

**Teasing, confusing and otherwise hoodwinking other chatters as to what name you have is always seen in a good light**

The limo was our present from his sister. That was the 1st time either of us had ever been in a limo. We never did figure out how to work the radio. So we just relaxed and talked and wound down. It was a great way to end the wedding.

:rotfl2: :lmao: Thanks. We were very pleased with the wedding. Except for the flowers which my mom planned with a flower person, the rest of the wedding was totally planned only by us. Talk about stress but we were extremely pleased with how it turned out. Not to mention that it showed our personality so well.

If the last one of you out of here tonight (PAIGE...it's almost always you...our resident night owl) could please quote my above post so that the morning coffee bunch sees the exchange info, that would be mucho great!!
