What did the dr. say?

Hi Teresa!

I'm cutting and pasting an earlier post, in case you missed it.

I already went to my appointment. The doc said it's either my gall bladder or maybe an ulcer. They want to do a bunch of tests. I didn't have hundreds of bucks to shell out for the tests. I had to pay $100 just to be seen. (If I were low income, it would have been free). So she wrote me a prescription for Nexium, in case it has anything to do with acid. They didn't even have any free samples to give me!

Big letdown. I'll just wait till I get my insurance (2 more months) before doing the testing. But I'll go to a better doctor.

She said if the Nexium doesn't help and it still hurts, just go to the emergency room, cause they have to treat you even with no insurance. (and acquire some huge medical bills).

It sucks because since I'm not low income, I have to pay for everything out of pocket. But I can't really afford all of that. They should have some remedy for people who are new to their jobs and don't have insurance yet!

We didn't go this year. We wanted to though, and maybe we still can. We have a 10-man tent and we've only used it one time (last year, on Labor Day weekend). We aren't big campers, but it's fun when we do go.

Yep, Waiting for ins. is scary. That is what happened to my BIL. Thankfully they both have ins. now.

Yesterday when I was telling my principal about the problems I'm having, she said she might try to expedite my insurance eligibility. She's not known for following through with things, but it would sure be nice if she did it!

Hi Teresa!

The dang server is so slow so I have decided to start on the next installment of my TR.

You're right, the server is really slow today. I still haven't read the last installment, so I'll have doubles today when I visit your TR. :thumbsup2 Looking forward to it, CY!

I read both installments. Nice job! :thumbsup2 Comments to both are posted! :)

When you finish your TR, you should print it out and put it in your trip scrapbook to help you remember the stuff you did!

Just checking in.....got a little scared because we were all the way down on page three.

Hi Pip. How was your day today?

Mine was fairly decent for a change. The kids were fairly sedate, and we only had the fire alarm pulled once. All in all a good day. :thumbsup2

Oh, mine was pretty crazy, but it always is this time of the month, plus I have an employee out.

Glad you are having a good one. :thumbsup2

I don't remember what kind of job you have? I work in a high school as a case manager, teaching kids social skills and anger management.
