I am a bit of an addict. I love being able to relive our family memories. That and it's a good creative outlet. AND...I look forward to having those books when my boys are bigger.

I tell the girls that the books are their's when I die, until then they belong to me. I have a friend to takes each page she does to a Kinko's Copy Place and has color copies made, then has them all bound together for each of the kids, that way they get a copy of the book now. Its a great idea, but expensive, her DH is a Dentist so money is not too much of an issue for her, for me, WELL...........I am cautious.

What kind of materials do you need to scrapbook? I would love to make one of our recent Disney trip and we're planning a cruise next year. It may be too late for me to do one of our August trip. I don't know of anything I have besides pictures and zillion pins.

You can begin to scrapbook at any time. Try to find a class on scrapping. They usually have classes at Michael's Art & Crafts or for a listing for a Creative Memories consultant on the Creative Memories web site. Call one on the phone and they will definitely get you going in the right direction. You can do pages as simple or extravagant as you want. Its your book do it your way.

Wow! I had no idea they had classes for that. That gives very uncrafty people like me hope. I don't have a lot of money to spend and Michael's is pretty pricey. Would it be rude to attend the class then buy the stuff at Wally world?

No, lots of people buy the stuff at Wally world, but if you watch Michael's sale papers, sometimes you can get some really great buys as well. You can buy papers individually or in packs, stickers come in packs and scissors and markers just buy as you need. But call Michaels and see if they have classes. If you go the Creative Memories way you can have a party and invite some friends, and you get free stuff based on what your friends buy.

We use airmattresses too, if we need. We move the furniture around in the living room to set up tables for scrapbooking, we share the cooking and stay up all night. We have a blast and we use the hot tub too, last year I was sitting at my table would look up and see the waves crashing, it was fabulous.

It is so hard to come back to work. Things are soo busy around here. And DBF started his new school so he is really busy now and we are trying to adjust to that. Its not easy. How are things with you? I see you are still being sick? Any word?
