I never remember people's names well, and forget to call good subs........if they leave me their name and number I put it in my desk drawer, but the year just started and most of those aren't on the list anymore.............

Thats a shame, I love my job. My name gets passed around really quick, since both my girls are students there.

Mary, do you ever have problems when you sub in your girls' class? I mean, do they act up because you are there? I'd be worried my kids would.

I'm pretty good. DD and I are going to get ready and hit some yard sales in a few. One of my good girlfriends is having one, and begged me to come. Then later on, I have a hair appointment. What about you?

I'm going to try and find a hair place that can take me today. I won't go to those walk-in places cause I am particular about who does my hair. But I'll call a place someone recommended and try to get in. Or at least set up an appointment. I haven't had it done since I left Vegas. And it is RAGGEDY!!!

I also want to take the girls to the library and out to lunch.

So garage saling huh? Sounds like fun!

I know what you mean. I'm very particular with those sorts of things, also. I've been going to the same lady for 14 years.

We have to do the library thing, too. We always go on Saturdays. We let DS pick out 7 picture books, and I read one before bedtime each night. He really enjoys it.

My DD and I are bargain hunters- so we enjoy yard sales. Sometimes, though, it's ard for me to get up so darn early on a Saturday morning. But, like you, I couldn't sleep, so I'm DISing!

We don't hunt for anything particularly. We mostly just browse. Sometimes we'll pick up some movies for the kids, or some knic-knacks for the house.

Nah. Not usually. Sometimes, if you chance it and go later, they'll come down on prices. There a lot of fun! What are you doing today?

My mother used to be the queen of yard sales!

When my kids were small, she'd buy toys to keep at her house that cost almost nothing!

I told her if she sees Little Tykes-buy it!
She said those items go first.
