He's very good. Strating to get the hang of lesson planning. He's having a hard time controlling some of the tougher "I don't know how" or "I don't wanna" kids, but he's happy!

Good! I"m glad he's happy. It's nice to have a happy hubby at home.

What are your plans for today?

I get to sit around doing nothing until the Ohio State game comes on. We're going to a party to watch that. :teeth:

YES!!! The host of our dinner party has sick kids and they wanted to postpone until tomorrow. We had to tell them we're going to D.C. for the baseball game so we won't be able to attend. What a pity. ;)

We also just got invited to a shindig for tomorrow night. It's someone we really like's birthday. Also, DH just checked the game tickets and they are for NEXT SUNDAY!! what a dork!

:lmao: :lmao:
That's great! :teeth:

So, in summary, now our plans are going to Manassas today for Ainslee's birhtday party. Then tomorrow, church and a birthday shindig. That sounds more manageable.

When you haven't DISed for a while, do you try to read back on the pages you've missed, or do you just jump back in on the last page? If I've only missed a couple pages, I go back and read them, but if it's a lot, then no way.

Well, it was 15 pages since the last time I'd been on, so I skipped it. I also usually read the last two pages or so.

I got a WDW post card from Mindy on Thursday! :teeth:

ooooo! I hope she sends me one too! I haven't checked my mail in a couple days. I'll send Heather out right now!

Well, I need to leave soon, so I'd better go get ready. Have a great day! :wave2:

Hi guys.........Kids In Need had a teacher supply fair in the Coca Cola warehouse near here today. I picked up crayons, glue sticks, glue bottles, filler paper, binders, pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners, dry erase markers, a marker board, and some prize incentives for my kids (tiny teddies, small basketballs). Oh, and some 3 subject notebooks, wooden paintable Christmas ornaments and some solid wood portrait thing-a-bobbers.........not sure what I'm doing with those.........and some fabric angel wings.....thought each child could glue their pic on the front and it'd be cute Christmas ornaments for their parents...............

Most things were limits of 6, but the wings, ornaments, pencil sharpeners and binders I could get a class set of. Only 1 marker board allowed and only 2 of each incentive prize. Oh! And 10 watercolor paint sets, too!

They also gave us Tab and water, sandwiches, cheese and fruit. It was awesome!

Doors opened at 9..........I was there at 8:30 and was the 5th one in........by the time I left the line was LONG at least an hour and a half wait.

Then I went and got cash because I'm out of checks, bought dh a toothbrush because I used his last night and woke up with a sore throat and some kitty food, gassed up and got the car inspected!

I left before the guys were up today, and got home to find them gone, so some quality DIS time is in order now.

How's your weekend going?

Well, I got lots of free stuff this morning, so that's always good, got the car taken care of, came home to a quiet house, another good thing, handed out money to all when they got home so they were all happy, took a nap, and played a board game.

Pretty good weekend so far!
