Hi guys.........Kids In Need had a teacher supply fair in the Coca Cola warehouse near here today. I picked up crayons, glue sticks, glue bottles, filler paper, binders, pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners, dry erase markers, a marker board, and some prize incentives for my kids (tiny teddies, small basketballs). Oh, and some 3 subject notebooks, wooden paintable Christmas ornaments and some solid wood portrait thing-a-bobbers.........not sure what I'm doing with those.........and some fabric angel wings.....thought each child could glue their pic on the front and it'd be cute Christmas ornaments for their parents...............
Most things were limits of 6, but the wings, ornaments, pencil sharpeners and binders I could get a class set of. Only 1 marker board allowed and only 2 of each incentive prize. Oh! And 10 watercolor paint sets, too!
They also gave us Tab and water, sandwiches, cheese and fruit. It was awesome!
Doors opened at 9..........I was there at 8:30 and was the 5th one in........by the time I left the line was LONG at least an hour and a half wait.
Then I went and got cash because I'm out of checks, bought dh a toothbrush because I used his last night and woke up with a sore throat and some kitty food, gassed up and got the car inspected!
I left before the guys were up today, and got home to find them gone, so some quality DIS time is in order now.
