We're just going to the library. Not much more than that. We have 2 dogs. One springer spaniel, the other a toy poodle. Do you have any cats?

Hee hee! They are loco. I'm going to stay home today; I"m not feeling well. I thought it was just allergies (they started yesterday) but it looks like it's a cold.

Good Morning Everyone!! I got the kids off to school, my boys first day of middle school. He was nervous. I hope he adjusts soon. He's always been in the same school a mile from our house its k-6 and about 150 students, very small. The middle school has about 300 in his grade alone. poor baby, was a whale now he's just a minnow.
SO, what is everyone up to today? I have to finish packing for our little weekend getaway. Oh, I better go walk the dog, she's pacing back and forth down the hall, that could be a sign...

Nothing much, I am going on a big family trip/reunion type thing to Wisconsin Dells next week though so I am excited about that.

for your little boy! I totally understand where your coming from. DD is starting HS and DS is starting Kindergarten. I think I'm more nervous then they are! You'll have to let us know how his first day went. I wish that their first day started on a Thursday, that was their first week isn't so hectic! But, I don't have a say in that kind of stuff. Where's your weekend getaway to?

Oh, that sounds fun, Alisa. I'll bet Wisconsin is pretty this time of year. I've never been there.

Hi Michelle! Great to see you today. Good luck to your son today in school. My DD started middle school last year (that was 6th grade, this year she'll start 7th) and she was very nervous the first day. But she came home and told us that she loved it!

My kids are all starting new schools this year, and they don't know anyone. They are really nervous.

Thanks, Denise. I slept in late today and I'll probaly rest a lot today. Especially since it's raining and all.

How far is that from your house?

It's a good drive, maybe about 3 hours. I don't really mind being in the car, though so it won't be that bad.

You guys make me feel so special! I had no idea I would be missed! I'll try not to be away so long again.

I've been doing the low carb diet thing again. I had eggs this morning for breakfast... certainly not my favorite.

Bonnie - I hope you're not getting a cold! Being sick stinks!

Denise - I used to be a procrastinator about school too. I still procrastinate, but I'd like to think I'm getting better. Good luck finding your daughter's book!
