Do you happen to know if it fits the DIS Siggy Guidelines with the KB's and the length / width? If it does, It's a perfect size and doesn't need touching at all! If not, then take your time fixing it. We appriciate all you do for us.

Here, have some cookies:

Yummy, I could use some cookies, the low carb thing is going well but MAN I want some ice cream, lol.

EVERYTHING I make is within the image rules, so no worries there :thumbsup2

Thanks so much, Lori! Don't worry about re-sizing it! You already have enough on your plate. :) So what are you doing tonight?

Thanks! Me, too! I was proud to be the first to post it! I knew for sure it would have already been posted a thousand times! :)

Does my siggy look okay? Should I center it?
I like yours how it is. I wouldn't center it.

NOT-ONE-THING .... whooo hoooo :rotfl2:
I would bet I will be sleeping by 8:30.
How about you, anything good planned??

Sounds good to me! :) I think that I'm going to get a bubble bath and relax. DS has a friend coming over tonight. . . Joy! Boys running around the house, annoying his older sister. DD's going to have fun tonight. . . LOL!

Just stopped in to say hi so you guys wouldn't worry. I worked the afternoon of the 8th, and then was just in pain so went to bed after. Today I was there all day, and again, hurts a lot when I get home, so I haven't been on. Just laying down, reading, talking to my boys.

Luke started preschool today and seemed to like it fine, though the teacher we had met wasn't there, she quit last week..........she was their most senior teacher they had, they had told me.

Nick went to sixth grade orientation, and seems very comfortable about what he will be doing daily. He doesn't get his schedule until the first day, so I'll have no idea what he's doing that day!

I have meetings all day tomorrow, half day on Friday. I hope to finish unpacking and setting up the room Friday if I can, then I can put up my posters, bulletin boards and so on on Saturday, in time for Meet the Teacher on Sunday. Then Monday I can get plans together.......school starts Tuesday.

Anyway, don't know how much I can get on, but I miss you guys!

Paige! It's so nice to hear from you, girl! Glad to hear you're doing well. Keep us posted as often as possible. Don't over-do it, alright? We miss you so much! Get well soon! :)

Hi!! :wave2: Thanks for checking in!

I hope you feel better. :grouphug: Good luck with all the school stuff.

Hi everyone.

Paige: I'm so happy you're able to join us. I just finished setting up my room. Our kids are already in. We started on the 8th. I'm already beat :cloud9:
Hi Denise, Sarah, Lori. Did I miss anyone?

Tomorrow we have to go to the public library and look for a book for DD's summer reading. Get this- We called two bookstores, Walmart, and Target, NO ONE carried it. She has to read this by school, Monday. She procrasinates way too much! Uggh. . .

I hope your library has it. You might have to get on a waiting list if everyone else has to read it.

What book is it?

(BTW, I'm a children's librarian)

Sarah, I didn't know that! :teeth: Too cool!

"Tangerine" by Edward Bloor

I've read great reviews about it.

Oooh that's a cool book! I can't believe no one had it! My copy is checked out.

It's kind of a boy book though. Oh well girls are more forgiving and we'll read anything unlike boys.

That's what I thought. Her book list in my opinion stinks. Here's her choices.

The House of the Scorpion - Nancy Farmer

Eragon - Chris Paolini

The City of the Beasts - Isabelle Allende

Ellen Foster - Kaye Gibbons (She read this one already! LOVED it!)

Ender's Game - Scott Card

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen (I thin it's going to be too long to read by Monday!)

Mississippi Trail - Chris Crowe

Choosing Up Sides - John Ritter

Bronx Masquerade - Nikki Grimes

Dragonwings - Laurence Yep

Tangerine - Edward Bloor

*She doesn't like those fantasy type books* Do you have any recommendations? :)

Hi All!
I checked out the book on Amazon Denise and it says that there is a new edition of it coming out on September 1. This might be the reason no one has it. Not even Amazon has a paperback in stock.

Too bad she doesn't like fantasy books-I would have recommended Eragon! I heard its really good
