Ok, so I should be packing right now, but instead, I'm here reading about double hung monkeys, chocolate covered men and fruity cookie monsters. Or something along those lines.

And where the heck is Bonnie? And Keith? And EVERYONE ELSE??? Sheesh. It's not like people could possibly have anything better to do!

Off to yoga class! I'm going to come back cool, calm, and collected. Well, perhaps "cool" is asking a bit much.

I'm heading to Cali! (there's still room in my suitcase if ya want to tag along!)

Flying to San Jose, going to redwood forest at Big Basin State park.
Thurs evening, driving to Monterey for a wedding. (DH and both sons are in the wedding)

Sun- flying down to Long Beach for 3 days at DLR. Our first trip to DL! Yay!!!!

We're taking the red-eye on Wed the 15th, will be back in D.C. early Thurs the 16th.

Sorry - I'm blind! I just now saw your ticker. I am extremely jealous of you, but will forgive if you come back and do a pictorial trip report. I haven't been to DL for about 25 years. I remember one of my favorite rides being the storyland ride - I thought the miniature scenes were so cool! Also loved the Matterhorn too - such a classic ride! Have a great time.

P.S. Tell that hag friend of yours (bonster) to get her toushie over here and post! I have been using her name in vain recently to encourage her out of lurkdom. Apparently she is just too good for the likes of any of us these days.

I'm so sorry - I completely understand. However, I just booked a trip this morning for Kate and I. I had to cancel our early January trip, but I was able to move it back a couple of weeks - so now to change my airfare (pay the stupid change fee - darn Air Tran) and then make my ticker!!!

Need some help with your trip?
