DS12 and I went to see National Treasure: Book of Secrets yesterday and I enjoyed it quite a bit and recommend it highly. I'm pretty sure the first National Treasure film only had one death in it and this one did too and neither were graphic or even visible (I know the one in this movie is only implied -- you don't actually see it). I love being able to take my kids to an action film (for the most part) and not have to worry about violence and language, especially when the films are done well. There was one scene set inside the White House during the Easter Egg hunt, with Diane Kruger in a very nice dress, that all of your DH's are sure to enjoy. The new Goofy cartoon (new to me anyway) shown prior to the film is pretty good too.

I'm not sure if DW will let me out of the house for a movie for three days in a row or not but I do have two or three flicks I still want to see.

Hey, Chatters! Merry Christmas Eve!! The Elf came last night and left the girls some gifts in their slippers. They all got cozy pajamas, and Heather got a CD, and the other two got Webkinz. They are happy!

Brent has to work today, the poor little fella! But only for four hours. We got a lot of wrapping done last night, but there is still more to do. So I'll enlist the girls' help today to wrap Brent's.

I'm so glad you give it good reviews. We really want to see it! Can't wait! Did you like it as much as the first one? I remember when they were filming it around DC. My brother saw it yesteday too, and he thought it was great.

Jonesy!! Thank you, lady, I think they are pretty cute too, even when they are all raggedy like yesterday! They are sooo freakish today! Just excited though. How have you been, my friend?

I hear ya about the chocolate and wrapping until the wee hours. For me it's Reese's bells though...I could eat a whole bag of those things!!

Ok everyone, this is most likely my last post of the year! DD and I just got home from seeing The Golden Compass. Beautiful movie, but a bit slow in parts. It's one we'll be buying when it comes out on DVD though. I am off to B'ham tomorrow to spend Christmas break with the family. Yay me! I get outa here for 5 whole days!!!

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas, and a safe and healthy New Year. See ya in 08!!!

Has Santa made it to your house yet? He just finished up here. Here's a sneak preview before the kids have even seen (and destroyed, um, played with) it yet:

Everything on the floor in front of the fireplace (not the Snoopy's -- they are decoration) -- from left to right, DS6, DS9, DS12, and DS15

It will be interesting to see if we get any complaints because this year, for the first time ever, Santa split his delivery into two locations in our home. The big item is actually downstairs almost directly below the pic above:

Merry Christmas, Chatters! I am upstairs, checking movie times. Looks like we are seeing Water Horse at 1:35p.m.

Did you all have a nice Christmas morning? We did! It was great! I got luggage, a Roxy tote bag, Beautiful perfume, Beautiful Love perfume, a new cell phone, some new makeup and some new skin care products, and a couple movies. I felt like I really scored! I'm happy with all my loot! The girls were happy, and so was Brent. Well, you know he got his flat screen TV already, but he got more loot today so he was pretty pleased.

Our friends brought us $100 gift card to the movie theater!! So we will be using those today!

Hey, Chatters! I highly recommend The Water Horse. We LOVED it! I hope you are all having a magical day. We are! My brother was here for a while (he went to the movies with us), but he had to go to work. I've spent a lot of time talking on the phone to my sisters and my parents. I miss them! But it's been a good day.



Rob...the video game is AWESOME! How did your family like it??? Bet you all are fighting over who gets to play it!
