Hi guys! I am at AKL right now and LOVING it!! My dad is doing well (same but I consider that "well" at this point). My feet were so swollen Saturday and Sunday that we didn't do much of anything other then hang out at the lodge. We still have yet to go to a theme park but that all changes tonight (I think I can handle a few hours of a pirate and princess party!).

I am taking it VERY easy and being way TOO good. I miss you all lots. I will try and hop back on before our 24 hours of internet are up. I just wanted to send hugs and hellos!

Still don't know how long we will stay. Depends on the baby and my dad (and my poor sausage like feet).

Happy Labor Day, chatters!!

We went on a picnic today, from 9:00 - 3:00. It was a beautiful, heavily wooded area with a playground nearby for the kids to make merry. We played Go Fish and hide-the-littlest-pet-shop-guy, went on a walk and DH and I took a snooze. I also read a little. It was such a nice day. The weather was perfect!

Jay! I am THRILLED to hear from you lady! Sorry about your sausage feet, but I hope you are having a great time! Is it still hot down there? I hope you can find some groovy rides to go on, that will allow pregnant women to ride! Pirates is just perfect for chicks in your condition!

Hey, Steph! Glad you are taking time to just chill today! Let me know what kind of good deals you find during your British inquiries.

Minty,how was the Rennaissance festival? Did you take pics? I love going to those things, but they aren't exactly for kids, now are they? I hope you have a good visit with your mom!

Squid, how are you feeling, friend? I miss you, lady! Check in and let us know what is going on. When are your tests?

Trisha, are you ready to go back for your second week of school? I start tomorrow!! We will be reading Wemberley Worried, by Kevin Henkes. We will make a Petal (Wemberly's doll) art project, too. It shoudl be a groovy day!

Ren Faire was much fun. I laughed, I got burnt, I saw a lot of cool things. All in all quite a fun day.
I saw quite a few children there, and there are plenty of attractions there to cater toward the little folk (and no I don't mean leprechauns) Bon. I think you should give it a try.

Hey stephie-sory I ducked out so suddenly this am. But I finally fixed the virus problem. I am officially bug free for the time being. Fingers crossed it stays that way. And thats a relief that I'm not a terrible person. I think my mom prefers it when I go out to visit her too, but really she just wants to be around me. I'm her youngest and only girl. Its my place in life I suppose.

Hello everyone! Bon monster - the little monsters are adorable! Ains is so cute - I remember the squidlette at the age - all fun and no attitude. The attitude is about to kill me right now. BEATINGS!

Sorry to be so absent, but I have continued to feel like poop. Tomorrow is my first test an iodine injected MRI. I have had this before and it isn't too bad except for the 3 cups o'crap you have to drink before being loaded in the plastic coffin of death (MRI machine) in the freezing cold room. FABULOUS - good times. I know that my description makes ya'll want to run right out and have it done - I highly recommend it.

I get to have a colonoscopy next week - I am living la vida loca - I know! I can feel your jealousy.

I plan on asking for a full body transplant the week after. Why stop at tests, I want a new body - preferably a younger and slimmer model.

Jaybat my buddy - good to hear from you and how's my Lodge? Give Don a hello from me and tell him I will see him in 46 more days!

The nerve of some people calling me a liar! I didn't lie! I personally never claimed it was my birthday and we did not get the fastpasses for the birthday. Anyway it was T's birthday just before we went so that wasn't a lie and we didn't really get free dessert because we were on the dining plan and it was "included dessert". What a big ole circle of sarcasm this poster has.

Does anyone know this LBelle anyway? I personally can't vouch for her. She looks a little shady to me. In fact, when I met her I thought - this chick would fit in well at the Poly lounge drinking Lapu Lapus.

P.S. - Would I be a liar if I said that your dh is a cutie LBelle? I hope you don't think that I am internet stalking him.

Hi Chatters!

Today was the first day of school for me, as well as my girls. It was a CRAZY day for me! Our principal divided the Pre-K class into Pre-K1 and Pre-K2 this year. I'm teaching pre-K2 and was supposed to have the older group. I was supposed to have, and planned on, 14 kids in my class. Well, SEVERAL parents were ANGRY when they found out that their child was not in my class. Even though their child was one of the younger kids, and did not have the skills that most of my group already has. So the principal begged me to let them come into my class so the parents would not be upset and pull their kids out. So I ended up with SIX more kids than I was supposed to have. But it's ok. We'll deal with it. We have a pretty good group. A few of them will take some whipping in to shape, but we'll get crackin' on them!

LISA!! You're back!! How was your trip, hag? It was great fun meeting you, lady! Can't wait till Feb!!

Squid, it's nice to see you around again. I missed you this weekend! A colonoscopy? Sucks to be you!! Good luck with your MRI tomorrow. Let us know how everything goes. We want you feeling better! Love ya, lady!

Steph and I want to plan a British trip for approx. Spring 2009, depending on when the best prices are. Anyone who is interested in joining us is welcome. We have barely decided we want to do it, and I've announced it to my DH! So we don't have the details worked out yet. Let us know if you want to join us!

Worcestershire is a quiet rural type place, very pretty.

If you want stunning views and quiet surroundings I would suggest somewhere like the lake district. If you are looking for hustle and bustle and a very lively place then London is the place to go.

I like visiting London every so often and going to TGI Fridays and Planet Hollywood for drinks, then you have Oxford St for all your girly shoping needs and then you have the West End where you can go and see a show. Of course you have all the touristy things which even I like doing like the National History Museum, the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Trafalgar Square, the London Dungeons, Madamme Tussauds, there is a lot to do!!

I would try and avoid the times of our school holidays as that is an expensive time to go as the whole country seems like it wants to double their prices around then. If you let me know roughly when abouts you want to go nearer the time, I can try and find out dates of when they are to help you not spend an absolute fortune.

I really should get off to bed now, it's 2:45 am!! Lots of coffee in the morning for me!!
