Some of the offenders are talking about going the week that begins with the very last day of free dining. I think it's Sept 29th... then we will get free food, plus the Food and Wine festival and the first MNSSHP.

Since most of you offend with us from time to time why not make it a bigger party???? I'm saving my $$ and hope to have enough by Sept to tag along but we figure some of us will bunk 4 to a room so it can be really cheap. And others can just do two.

Hi Trisha and Teresa and RB...............

I think I'd be pushing my luck with another trip. But you all have fun and tell me all about it!!!!!!

Hi Paige.

Jay....I guess the first thing would be to decide upon a month!
My one and only suggestion would be an off season time. Me and crowds...shiver me timbers...ugh.

However, whenever it works out...I will be there.

If enough of us go...I have this dream....and really...if enough of us go...it won't cost that much...and I will be happy to work on setting it up...but a special "ta do" somewhere. Either a meal or even just desserts and fireworks viewing from a resort or ????? I don't know. I just want to go!!

What's everyone doing tomorrow? DH, DD and I are going out to breakfast with DH's grandpa. Then afterwards DD and I will go to Target and Wal-Mart....Then I'll need to do some housecleaning.

:thumbsup2 Have they offered free dining again to the general public? I was told they were not planning on doing that again...if so..WOO HOO...

I heard they are not even be extending the come back stay offer that went through the end of Dec. (to book free dining while you were at WDW for a return trip in Sept.).

We have done free dining three times now. Once two years ago and twice last year. IT ROCKS!! :) :thumbsup2

Well, I guess we just need to narrow down what months work best for everyone....and then go from there. I agree about the off season, though! :thumbsup2

Well...what do you consider the off months?

Late August?
All September?
All October?
All November (minus Thanksgiving week)?
Early December?
All of January?
All of February (minus President's Day)?

Any other times?

Kar has all the info on free dining. I think she said you have to book with a Disney Visa to get it and there are several other specific requirements too. She has links to several sites.

Personally I like the idea of free food... but I'd rather go when it's cool and not busy... but I wouldn't go without friends, so who ever really goes I will try to work it out. DH just started a new job so I doubt he'll have vacation until after Jan 2008... so family will be local weekends this year.

My goodness I'm jabbery tonight.... :rotfl:

I think that covers it....but I would think December/Jan would be tricky because of the holidays and such.

Well, we are going in September.............I forgot the week now.........but I won't have another chance after that.

January after New Years is GREAT! Second slowest time of the year!! At least according to TGM...and I live by what he says. ;)

Yeah kind of hard to get away... at least late Nov & Dec.

Up through early Nov and even late jan... okay

Other times to avoid...

Jersey week -- usually the first or second weekend in Nov
MLK weekend
Presidents weekend
