So who wants to extend the day by about 14 hours? One beyond stressed out college student would greatly appreciate it.

Mission: "healthy" snack birthday food
Due: Wednesday AM
Event: DD's birthday (which is Tuesday) but the Loser mom in me lets her take the day off so she won't celebrate till Wednesday at school

Dang. My kid's birthday is Tuesday. Easter last year. Happy BD!

You are very similar to my wife in that respect. The other night, we were watching a show on tv...just got the kids to bed...then I heard the slow, steady, heavy breathing. She was asleep at 8:30. :rotfl:
Sounds like a smart woman;)

I'll have to ponder this one, I don't know this word..."healthy"

Morning all!

With minimal caffeine in me, let's see fruit kabobs or if your store has them we did individual apple slices with caramel dip (the one year the school tried this healthy bday crap, lasted till Nov DS10 is in Sept:headache: ) My neighbor sent in frozen fruit pops, store bought, the 100% kind. Or any healthy muffins.

Ill see if I can think of anything else later

Off to the dentist today:scared1: I dont like my hygieniest, she is not gentle but LOVE:lovestruc my dentist (very cute former Navy). Hygienist last time asked what the heck I do all day as a SAHM. That went over like a lead balloon. I wanted to grab the scraper and poke her eyes out (oops did I type that:lmao: )

But why I am I good about keeping dentists appts and gyno appts but I never get around to getting a physical:confused3 . ANd this was before the cutie dentist and my gynos are woman (although she does own DVC so we talk Disney:laughing: )

Good morning everyone! Sorry about the other night. I thought the boys were asleep, then the next thing I know - they're fighting! Things got crazy at my house, then DD got all riled up & wouldn't lay back down . . .

Then, get this. I have an alarm clock that is supposed to automatically adjust daylight savings time. Well, when dst rolled around, it didn't change, so I just switched time zones to get the right time. Well, apparently, my clock thought that last Saturday night/Sun. morning was dst b/c my alarm went off, I got the kids up and ready, left DH (b/c he had just gotten in from work), then we go off to my mom & dad's to eat breakfast before they took the boys to church. (I know, I'm bad - I didn't go. My defense, though: DD won't stay in the nursery & after last Christmas, I think she's been banned from staying in the sanctuary. :lmao:) So, I just stayed home with her.

We walk in and they're like "what are you all doing here so early?" HUH? I looked at their clock & sure enough - we had gotten up an hour early. I could have slept another whole hour! :furious:

Anyway, that's how my week has started off. I hope everybody else has a great week!

I almost forgot to set my alarm clock last night when I went to bed:sad2:

BTW- Lara what the heck are you doing up so early? You should be sleeping in enjoying you mini vacation before starting your new job.

I still have to get up and take the kids to school...I'm getting ready to leave soon to go shopping.

The husband and I stopped for breakfast after dropping off the kids...I had "didn't have to make it myself" coffee!

OK...off to make my credit card smoke....you all be good.

Mornin Losers!

Hope everyone has a good day today. The puppy find of the morning seems to be tissues. Shes sprinting around my room with them and then trying to stop by skidding on her paws. Shes hysterical.

Show her the roll of toilet paper....That's amusing!

Mornin' Losers. Rainy and dreary here, much like my mood until the coffee kicks in. :surfweb:

Actually going to try to be a winner today. No, not by cleaning (Blasphemy!), but by taking the girl to a playdate. We usually save them for the evenings when DH is traveling, but my friend is playing hooky from work today so we are going to an indoor play area with our girls. (She has twin girls that are just eight days older than DD). Should be interesting...if you don't hear from me by Wednesday, assume I've been overthrown in a coup...

Any losers still around or all you all out being winners this morning? I am fantasizing over booking a free dining trip, knowing that I just can't do it. Sigh! ANyone else going to go then (besides you, Linty)?

I did only laundry over the weekend so I have my work cut out for me on the rest of the house today. I need to get the dog hair off the floor before I go nuts. Also, why does the mirror in my kids' bathroom always look like someone's been at it with a water gun or something? There are long streaks traveling down the mirror in several places--it's not like it's jst a few spots above the sink. How do they do that?:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I'm still being loserish, but only till the coffee kicks in. Then I have to get the house cleaned up alittle cause they are coming to switch the light bulbs out tomorrow. Don't want them tripping over the thousands of Rescue Heroes that have made the living room floor their base of operation.

Good Morning Losers,

The kids are school and my house is so quiet. I love it. I should be doing some work but, I just love to listen to the quiet.

For those keeping up with the cat drama. We are fit cat parent according to our local Humane Society. Mr. Middle is thrilled! Husband not so much. He picked out a cat. I am not sure I like him, he is the world's worst shedder. It was like snow everytime you pet him. I have to decide if I want that much work. He was a pretty fun but still laid back cat. I asked if I could come in a give him a good brushing to see if that would help. She said I can come in on Tuesday or Wednesday. Mr. Middle loved spending his afternoon with all the cat though. They had about 15 of them in there.

I think we will start to volunteer there. I should be doing that on my mornings I am kid free. They said Mr. Middle could come in and help too, as long as I was there too.

Anyway I have nothing planned for the day. MIL is coming soon so I should clean but, I don't really care at this point.

They have the same rule at The boys' preschool so we bring popcorn. My kids love it. Last week I went to the popcorn ster and they have white popcorn mixed with candied colored popcorn. So it's healthy sort of but still is sweet. It passes the snack police at out preschool.

I SO wanted to plan a trip for this fall but it looks like we are going next Fall instead :sad2: Sad about it BUT as of August we will be completely DEBT FREE other than our mortgage!!!! And looking at it that way we will also be able to pay for the trip with CASH!!! So I guess it's a good trade off :guilty:
