Success!! That was quick, you must be a powershopper!

I am thinking of going to look at new purses..I am still REALLY bummed that the lowlifes got my new Coach bag. I saw some Dooney and Bourke bags marked down at Dillard's last week, before my incident. So I didn't really check them out with buying in mind. I HATE CRIMINALS!!!

I checked on what they did with my Debit card today. Only 3 stops at gas stations, total $142.XX. The bank is in the process of crediting it back to my account, so not so bad. What idiot criminals..they get three hits at gas stations before the bank puts an automatic hold on the card. One of their charges was $4.23...probably for cigarettes...I guess they ran out of cars to fill with gas...

Idiots....When I was in Texas, we had to put in our zip code at the pump to let our credit card work. Maybe they need to mandate putting in PIN #s at the pumps?

DS5 loves his Nick Jr subscription, he will look at that in church, Or he really likes lift the flap books or ones that make him do somthing but are quiet. I found two Dr Suess book like that that went into his Easter basket.

It keeps him quiet and it works on the fine motor skills Bonus!

We are trying to get him more involved but doing it slowly.

HRH did your son decide on his animal for his project yet?

He actually has TWO projects to work on over the next two weeks. The animal one is a poster with required information that she sent home. He wants to do a Barracuda..:confused3 So I think we are off the the library today. The other thing is a diorama of a scene from a book they read in class, "Hatchet"..:confused3 :confused3 I have no idea about that book, so no help from winner mom on that..no clue about it-he is on his own.

I saw the thread the Pie started. I posted...nothing really antaganistic..although a couple of others seemed to be kinda snarky. Could it be that we are not alone with our contempt/love of pie?

Lara - I'm so jealous. I love Chico's!!!! :thumbsup2

I need your all's help. DH & I are wanting to take the kids out to dinner tonight. There's this nice independently owned diner in town that grows their own veggies and even slaughters their own cows, but we were thinking more along the lines of Chile's or Outback. What do you guys think? Would I be a bad mom if I took my kids to Outback? I'm just so torn! What if they try to feed my kids food that has previously been frozen? Do you think it will affect my children's capacity to mature at an advanced level. Also, DD can get kind of rambunctious - I would like to take her pacifier to keep her calm, but I'm afraid that all of the other mothers will judge me. Oh, what to do????? Should I just be a winner & actually cook dinner tonight? :confused3

Oh, the agony!!!! What to do, what to do???!!! :scared:

Lara -- I can get to the outlets in about an hour and a half from here. It would have been fun to join up with you, but unfortunately, I was working.

Looks like tomorrow is going to be a long day. DH is bringing in about 25 bushel of crabs to pick, and considering all my employees (except me and MIL) are still learning, it'll take all day long.

Give me a month or two, and I'll be picking over 100 bushel a day, though. Can't wait til that happens. I won't have to worry about picking the crabs myself then!!

Go to the chain restaurant!!! And take the pacifier, but let your DD scream for about 30 minutes before you give it to her. That way, all the judgemental mothers will be GLAD you got your kid to finally be quiet. They'll be thanking you for giving it to her instead of looking down their noses at you.

:rolleyes1 Let's go Outback Tonight:rolleyes1 That's what my DS sings when he wants to go out for dinner (which isn't very often--he prefers to stay at home, which he would, since he never has to cook!)

As long as you use the trip to Outback as a "learning experience" you should be fine. You are home schooling, aren't you? You can use it to show your child where the mindless drones gather to eat. Those that have been tricked into accepting over priced mediocre meals in place of real food.

Whatever you do... DO NOT COOK. It makes the rest of us look bad.

DD3 says you should go to the "green" place (Chili's) instead of the bread place (Outback). She has a 'description name' for almost every chain restaurant you can name. Think we eat out too much??:lmao:

Just make sure when she is running up and down the aisles you shout out "HEY UNIVERSAL STUDIOS !!! NOW YOU GET BACK OVER HERE!!!" so you can show everyone how clever and unique you are to name your child after a theme park..

I'm cooking something out of a box tonight. Will that make the rest of you look good or bad?

Aren't your kids gone?? ;)
YUP!:goodvibes But now I need to go and get them.

NO no no!!!! Let your kid cry! It's their right to express themselves (plus it makes mine look better bhaved)

didn't you say on that other thread that you cooked seven days a week? ;)

That was sooooooooooooooooo not me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lmao:

I said that I eat in local restaurants because I have many friends who own restaurants.

But I still like my chains.

I would NEVER say I cook 7 days a week!!

No you are correct, it was IAHD!!.. :rotfl: I knew it was a loser that said it, just had the wrong one!! Sorry, didn't mean to freak you out..

If it makes you feel any better, I asked IAHD on another thread how her Mexican laborers were doing.. I don't know what it is about your screen names that gets me confused...easily done!!
