So I washed my car today. And no I did not do one of the ones you drive thru I actually washed it by hand. But only because my drivers side window does not go up all the way and I did not feel like a shower today.

I am also doing laundry.

And now I want a nap.

DD just asked said the other day how funny it would be to go thru with the window down. I woulda let her try it--she was the one who was gonna get wet in the frontseat (no worries--she's 14 and over 85 lbs!

). Then she didn't think it would be as funny. Huh--funny how that works. :rolleyes:

Too cold and icky here to wash cars. Mine is filthy but I figure I can live with it. :cool2:

The youngest had a hot dog and the rest of us had "mommy noodles" as DD calls them(spaghetti noodles with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic & parmesan cheese).

Well I was planning on roteriseri(sp) chicken, cheaters twice baked potaoes, cheddar garlic biscuits, and a recipe I found for grilled corn cakes that were supposed to be like The Cheesecakes Factorys. Well DH took the boys to pick up the 6 things I needed for that dinner & walked in w/ pizza & breadsticks! So now pizza was dinner Fri nite, sat lunch, sat dinner & dinner tonight. I think that just cements my "loser" status. He walked in and said "the boys wanted pizza". Oh well easier on me.

He makes me nuts, but is such a loving kid...he just came over and said "I hug you mommy" and gave me a hug and a kiss for no reason.

Thanks to my own stupidity on Friday, we are having subs and cupcakes for dinner..They don't even want the cupcakes.. I had leftover eggplant parm that I defrosted last night. Sometimes I get a craving for eggplant... :confused3

I think I'm getting sick...I woke up with a sore/scratchy throat and it hasn't gone away all day. Now I have a headache and I am tired even though I slept til 10 today..I am vegging out watching a movie, "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days"

I did just have a winner mom moment sorta. DS8 had the little girl from across the street over and put in the Simpson's movie...which I let thim watch without even thinking twice about it. After letting it start and trying to find out from the girl (7) if she could watch it or not, (Honey, it has bad words in it like "***" and "crap" can you watch movies with that in it?-That's OK I'll just cover my ears.) I finally decided that although I can corrupt my own children as much as I wanted, I couldn't just let her watch it. So I said it was time to eat and she should go home now...So she did, and I am safe except for actually having said those two words to her... :upsidedow

Oh, well...

Back to my movie!!

I'm back...but I am :mad:

The Sunday Night Insanity escalated to an unbelievable level in my house tonight ending up with my daughter knocking down the shower caddy thing (you know, those things that have springs on them that you wedge into your shower to put stuff on?)

Anyway, when fixing it....angry as all get out....I've managed to completely throw out my back and neck...grrrrrrrr.
