Grrrrrr....ain't it the truth. Last week my husband's foot hurt. He could "barely walk". He hopped through the house for two days....In my world, if that foot isn't attached backwards, you muscle it out and keep going. Grrrrr

Morning, my back still hurts. Maybe I should lay in bed and moan and ask someone to wait on me...oh, wait, there's no one to wait on me. Guess I'll suck it up and go to work.

Woke up at 7:56 - kids have to be to school for 8:10 and I'm supposed to be at work for 8AM Kids made it in time, I got at work at 8:15 Good thing I'm one of the 1st ones there so nobody knows shhhh

Wow, you LOSERS were busy this weekend!! Guess I need to go back and read to catch up.

Well, I bought more maternity clothes on Saturday in Topeka, but I now have to call the Motherhood store. One of the shirts I bought has the tie around the Empire waist, well I washed it to wear to church yesterday and one of the ties had completely ripped off when I washed it. They only give 10 days for exchanges and the store is an hour away. I need to call and see if I can bring it back next time I'm in Topeka.

We bought a new Kodak Easyshare camera too!! Needed a new one before the baby comes.

I also went and saw The Other Bolyn Girl yesterday with my girlfriend who loves her book as much as I do. It was good, no where near as good as the book, but still good.

All in all a good weekend.

OH, we had a thunderstorm with hail in the middle of the night and of course our dog freaked out. DH got out of bed and tried bringing her to our lower level while he check out the radar to see how long it would last. Told me to go back to bed. I did for a while, but couldn't get back to sleep. Finally he listened and he went back to bed and shut the door. SO, I had leftover biscuits and gravy because I woke up hungry and the dig finally settled down after the storm and we fell asleep. DH woke me up at 5:30 when he got up and sent me back to bed.

We have drugs to give the dog, but most times the storm is over before the meds kick in, but I miss the old days when storms didn't bother her.

Almost slept late. Alarm went off at 6 and I hopped out of bed at 6:50 and I had to leave at 7. My throat hurts like crap and I can barely talk. But went into work anyways. Just waiting for my tea to cool before I can drink it. Maybe I will get to go home early.

Glad you had a good weekend. I never liked buying maternity clothes. But 21 years ago they where ugly.
Our cat hates thunder and lighting storms. John says he gets it from me. We hide under a blanket in the hall when the storm starts.

DS is sleeping. Imagine that. When he gets up, I'm going to go check on the workers and make sure everyone's doing ok.

Their visa's don't start until April 1st, so they technically can't work til tomorrow. So this may be my last day off. *sniff sniff*

I've been trying to get a hold of DH to see if he found crabs for us to pick tomorrow.

I went shopping in Houston this weekend!!! It was great!

I bought a bookcase from IKEA, brought it in the house, my husband was actually going to put it together right away and we see that 2 pieces are broken!!!! Did I mention that it is a 5 hour drive to Houston??

Well I called this morning and they are going to ship out the broken pieces!! I love that place!

I got up on time, took the kids to school, came back home and went back to bed. I try to never do that, but with DH gone, I don't go to sleep easily at night and don't sleep quite as deeply, because I'm worried I'll miss something. Normally it takes a bomb to wake me once I'm asleep. Besides, it was rainy and grey this morning--the perfect sleep-in day!

DH is supposed to be home tomorrow. BUT I checked my email and I think he must be planning a surprise because I see in my email that his flight lands tonight at 9:30 (All the flight confrimations come to our main email address as well as his work address) I'm glad I saw it--I would've freaked if I heard him come in around 10:30!! But I guess now I have to get the whole house cleaned in one day and shave my legs! because I haven't done it since he left....

And I'm sitting her catching up on the DIS....
