Why do I bother opening threads that I know someone will write something in it that I know will upset me? :headache:

That's it from now on I will stick to the ones I am subscribed to & any troll threads we find.

Well there are no good troll threads and it seems the CB is slowing down for the night. So I am going to bed. Talk to ya'll tomorrow.

Morning all!

We adopted our soldier through Soldier's Angels...turned out he was in charge of a light armour unit. When we asked what he would like, he said "stuff for his guys". We got the message and ended up adopting the entire unit. We sent a package every week (although you don't have to do that much). We got the prepaid postage boxes and jammed them full of stuff. My daughter would also draw pictures and we'd put those in the boxes. My husband took care of writng the letters because he had more time.

Hey everyone,
I am glad to see people adopt a solider. My 21 year old nephew just got back from his second deployment in Iraq. We always sent boxes of goodies for his whole troop. He asked us not to send anything uless there was going to be enough to share.
I hate the thread of trashing our troops. We have a group that stand out in the center of town and trash our soliders every weekend. I always make sur to let them know if it was not for out troops fighting for thier freedom they could not do this. The people they hate are the ones that frought to give them thier freedom of speech.

Morning!

We ran to Kohl's last night. DS6 punched through the knees of TWO pairs of pants this week, so we had to take him and his skinny butt to try on some new ones.

Fun.

Imagine me handing pants to DS2 to run in to DH and DS6 in the dressing rooms. That, of course, meant DS2 then had to climb under the door... squeal at himself in the mirror... and generally wreak havoc.

Nobody else seemed to need to try on anything in that dressing room for the entire time that we were there. Strange. :confused3 :rotfl:

Well, I'm off to try and find the floor in my house. If I can find the floor, I might just vacuum it. We'll see...

Now now...lets not do too much at once. Finding the floor is a good first step. But after you find the floor I think you should rest a bit. A day or two should suffice. Then you can contemplate vacuuming for another day. That always works for me.

HI! Back from my Winner morning...

Did some laundry
Got my hair cut
Went to the drugstore
Got valentines for the kids to do
Went grocery shopping

Now I'm relaxing....

BTW...you know that "get a sitter before you come to my house" thread? Turns out the reason they wanted the friends to get a sitter was so that they could all smoke a little wacky weed.

And yes the last post is someone passing judgement on wacky weed smoking.popcorn::

I really do need to get stuff done around the house, but I don't feel like it :snooty:

All I have done today, besides feeding the kids breakfast lunch (was getting tired of the whining), is update my TR (our trip was in Sept.) and started recording the movies that TCM are showing today.

Realized that I do need to wash atleast one load of laundry so #1DS has clean jeans for school this week. I'll probably remember to do it at around 8pm tonight, as usual.

I'm sleepy...I think I'm going to take a nap.

oh yeah my disorganization came back to haunt me today. Each week in DS's class someone is Star of the Week and they have to bring pictures from baby to current and hobbies or awards and stuff. Well since I dont scrapbook or even get pictures into albums, DS and I have been sorting through envelopes and boxes trying to get enough pictures (some even came out of frames:rolleyes1 ) so he can be this week's star

But hey at least DS5 got something out of the deal, he fell in love with one of the pictures from a past Halloween of him and his bro. So now we have a Show and Tell item for something you love - Halloween and oh yeah and his brother:thumbsup2 That will work right???

WOW! I missed a ton in just one day!
Alrighty ladies I am back. Went to Urgent Care and after almost an hour of waiting for triage when I told the triage nurse it felt like my heartbeat was irregular...you better believe they got me in quick. Told me to go pay my copay and when they print the chart to put it in a red folder...not a green one the other sick schlubs get but a red one.

Got taken to a room and basically told to disrobe for an ECG. Boy that was fun. Sitting there in my khakis and a paper shirt with my ****s hanging out. Though I will say having a male OB/GYN look at my girly bits was worse. So did that and it was normal. My heart was beating fine for the duration of the test. Then it was time to order a chest x-ray and labs. So I got to pee in a cup and found out later I did not have to. Had blood drawn...which was fun watching my blood shoot into the tubes. And then off for the x-ray.

My x-ray was clean, nothing on it. And all the labs came back normal. My blood sugar is fine, my hormones are fine, my electrolytes are normal. So now I get to find a PCP and talk about anxiety because physically besides the whole overweight issue...I am healthy as a clam.

I always knew I was a nutcase.

Glad to hear it's nothing too serious at this point, better make that other appt. and I hopr you feel better.

As promised...here's the Bunnymobile:

Awwww, my DS made an upside-down boat this year--wrote down is up and up is down on it (ala Pirates III) and no one got it. Oh well, he didn't win any design awards but he won the race. Now we have to go to the district race:rolleyes:

Morning Losers!

Did you miss me? No? Well, I'm shocked. ;)

DS6s Kindergarten program went well. I was surprised by how well behaved that large of a group of 5 and 6 year olds were. Anyway, DSs class sang a song all about baking cookies, so my fears of a song about smells were unfounded.

They were wearing the glasses with fake noses to point out clearly that they were the sense of smell group. I'm sure we wouldn't have figured it out otherwise.

I had to take DS6 to his Pediatric Neurologist appointment yesterday, so that blew most of the day. I now have to take the boys shopping for Valentines.

Wal-Mart on a Saturday afternoon. Pray for me.

I try my best to avoid WalMart unless it's during the week when I can go by myself while the kids are at school. Weekends at WalMart=

I know I am taking it way to personal, but some people need a big kick in the butt.
One just said something that made me sooo mad (yes it's their own opinion I know) that I might need to walk away and do the dishes.

Yes, it is personal. I totally understand. Some people are just tooo dumb to know any better. Sounds harsh, but it is the truth. Ask my kids what is my favorite saying: "I hate stupid people."

No--don't do it! It's Sunday, a day of rest. Well, that's my excuse, anyway. I was a winner and got the kids to the 8:30 service, followed by Sunday school. DH and I went to Target for coffee and aluminum foil and then to Krispy Kreme to get the donuts I promised the kids for getting up and going to church without a fuss. The donuts were brunch and I am putting ribs in the crockpot for dinner. I will do laundry today but nothing else. THe plus side to having older kids means they get to do chores. I don't dust, but they do! THey may not do well but it beats me having to do it. And my DS really likes to clean the toilets with those disposable scrubbers so who am I to complain?

well they said they wanted to smoke.:lmao: :lmao:

Man I slept good last night. Must have been the sugar low from all the carbs at dinner. Spaghetti, garlic bread, a regular coke, homemade chocolate chip cookies after dinner. I zonked out when my head hit the pillow.

Woke up way too late this morning and am starving now. But gotta go do my laundry. And discuss airline tickets with my parents. And maybe start writing my pre-trip report. Even though my trip isn't for another 7 odd months.

I need a good title...help me out please. I plan on giving the 4 of us going Dwarf names that fit our personality. I will be Sleepy, my sis will be Doc cause she loves to take charge. My mom will he Happy because she loves going to Disney and my dad is of course...Grumpy.

We are leaving Dopey my brother and his GF Snow White at home.

Hello Losers!

I am back from my winnerish morning. I went to church and had to help in nursery, and then I had to do Children's Church. CC was a nightmare. The kids were so flippin' naughty. My helper didn't show up so I had to try to find someone to help. Blech. I am so glad I only have it once a quarter.

All of my kids are sleeping. My Dh is too. He is "watching" Dayotna qualifying.

:lmao: :lmao:

My dad does the same thing. He lays on the couch to watch Nascar and before you know it he is snoring away. And if you stand there long enough and watch him he will wake up and deny he was sleeping.
