;) Everyone loves a good crotch shot!

ell I don't know if I would say that the maintence guy who came out to the house is a LOSER, an idiot or a mixture of both.

Dude's an idiot! We LOSERs are just lazy, not stupid. I like to think that we use our God-given common sense to come up with solutions to a problem that allows us more free time to spend sleeping.

I have to go into DD's classroom tomorrow to change out their reading books. I should be doing it weekly but something always seems to come up & it ends up being two weeks. I think it's been 3 weeks since the last time I was in there. It's on my list so I have to do it tomorrow.

Apparently drinking beer & coloring your hair are not the two best things to be doing at the same time. Who knew? I ended up w/a lighter streak in the back of my head & when I pull my hair up the underneath is lighter. I have to redo that tonight. W/out the aid of the beer, although it was really cold & really good.

I'm leaving the dishes for tomorrow, even though it's just a matter of rinsing off the plates & putting them in the dishwasher. I just don't feel like it. Now if hubby wants to go do it.....who am I to begrudge him?

By the by, I have no, um, assets, so I just have to take the ticket. Crying never worked for me either.

Man, I wish I had some pudding right now.

Rice Krispie Treats?

that's what I was gonna say..It doesn't get much easier than that, and they are always a winner. If you want to make them more special, sprinkle some mini M&M's onto the top while pressing them into the pan..

ooopsss. read on further down the thread...DS doesn't like them...I vote donut holes from Dunkin donuts...

I would cry if I got pulled over. Cops hate to see someone cry. It might get you off the hook or put in jail cause they think you are crazy.:lmao: :lmao:

Doesn't work....When I got pulled over for speeding, I bawled!! I didn't even want to! It just happened! I was actually quite embarassed after!

Although last night I rolled through a stop sign on my university's property and got pulled over...I was on the verge of tears! I don't know what it is...I guess I just don't like being told what to do!!!!:rotfl2:

I had to hang up the phone when I called my husband to tell him about the ticket because I was about to start crying!:sad1:

If it is good, you must share the recipe.

I do enjoy cooking. I may not do a lot of things well, but cooking is something that I am pretty darn good at. My mom was a short cut cook, which is fine... but I was an adult before I learned that you could make potatoes from actual potatoes. I thought they had to come from a box. Hamburger buns? Hotdog buns? Dinner rolls? We got sliced Colonial bread for everything when I was a kid. I didn't know bread came in other forms. Anyway, once I learned that there was more to cooking than opening a box, I found out I liked it. Who knew?

Here is the recipe from AllEars http://www.allearsnet.com/din/rec_ched.htm

It's not hard at all, it just takes some time..It was pretty good, in true loser fashion I didn't have celery, used chicken broth instead of chicken stock, used store brand white cheddar instead of the Canadian brand indicated in the recipe, and I had to substitue Budweiser for Moosehead Ale.:rotfl:

I have made this before , so I knew to leave the salt out this time. I can't stress this enough. the bacon is salty, the cheese is salty...leave it out and add to taste if you need it at the end. mine was perfectly salted without adding a bit.

I have never been to Le Cellier, so I don't know how it compares. It was very good, IMO..

Night Losers!!!

Don't do anything I wouldn't do (there...leaves the field WIDE open for ya)

DANGEROUSLY wide open...

I'm off to watch TV...I'll be stopping by the freezer to grab a big bowl of vanilla ice cream, then some cookie dough I have in the fridge...(the kind in the roll, not the gooey stuff with raw eggs smeared on it), and maybe a little hot fudge with whipped cream. I'll pass on the cherries this time...bye y'all..

be good.........and if you can't be good, be careful.;)

ok help me out here, I dont bake much but I can follow directions.

The Preschool teacher called me to see if I thought DS5 was going to be in on Friday bc she forgot to tell me on Mon that I have Special Snack Day on Friday:headache: when I call him in sick.

She is trying to switch me to next week but it is with a mom that works PT as a lawyer so who knows what her schedule is like.

So she said it needs to be something DS5 and I like to make together(umm reservations;) ) but they get cookies all the time and cupcakes arent allowed, too crumby.

Now MINI muffins are allowed :confused3 and my mom says she has the mini tins. I guess I can follow the recipe. I dont really make baked goods bc DS10 doesnt like them, DH is always on a diet.

Any other ideas? The teacher was asking if DS liked chex mix, :confused3 got me. He doesnt really like fruit that doesnt yellow, he only like apples and bananas.

Errr why cant I buy something. I am VERY good at buying snacks:)

And dont anyone suggest raw cookie dough:lmao:

My friend Betty Crocker has these pouches you only have to add 1 or 2 things to and makes the mini muffin possibility VERY easy :thumbsup2

I also made this past weekend an apple cake that would work well as cupcakes/muffins too - you take 1 yellow cake mix - make as directed - add to batter 1tsp each of vanilla and cinnamon (I just poured, didn't measure) and 2 chopped/diced apples. Bake at 350 - check box for time for cupcakes. Instead of making in a cake pan you could do muffin tins.

You could also do......
ANTS ON A LOG
Celery sticks filled with either peanut butter, cream cheese
and topped with raisins, apple dices, seeds, nuts, banana dices etc..

HOMEMADE FRUIT JIGGLERS - or do the Jello ones (on back of box!)
2 cups fruit juice of your choice (100% Natural Fruit Juice Only!)
3 tsp powdered gelatin
1/4 cup small cubed fruit of your choice (optional)

Place 1/4 cup of the juice in a cup; sprinkle gelatin over juice.
Stand cup in a small pan of simmering water, stir until gelatin is dissolved.
Stir gelatin mixture and fruits into remaining juice in a medium bowl or square/rectangular pan.
Refrigerate until firm.

Cut into cubes (dice size) or cut into shapes to serve

YOGURT CEREAL BARS
2 cups corn flakes - 3/4 flour - 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon - 1/2cup butter or margarine
1 cup flavoured yogurt (banana/strawberry etc..) - 1 egg slightly beaten
2 tablespoons flour
Preheat oven to 350F

Combine cereal, 3/4 cup flour, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Cut in butter or margarine until coarse crumbs form.
Press 1/2 the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased 8inch square pan.
Mix yogurt, egg and 2 tablespoons flour in another small bowl.
Spread over cereal mixture in pan and then sprinkle the remaining cereal mixture on top
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown; cut into bars when cooled.

West Coast delay has me late to the party again, but Kellie I'm also sending positive thoughts your way.

Love Lara's pudding cup suggestion. We do Worms in the Dirt with crushed Oreos, chocolate pudding and gummy worms, just like at WDW.

Oh yeah...forgot to post the easy way to do Rice Krispy treats...

Go to the grocery store, buy as many boxes as you need of premade rice krispy treats. When you get home take them out of the foil wrapper and arrange on a plate.

Instant homemade treats

Night Losers:goodvibes

I went to the movies and s aw 27 dresses with my BFF tonight.

It was very good, minus, the stale pretzle bites, rat running past my feet and lights being turned off while in the restroom:rotfl:

Hubby actually did clean the kitchen! He also colored my hair for me, although it took him way longer but then again he didn't miss any spots. :lmao:
I guess I'll go to bed now, being that I have to be up & getting the troops moving at 7. Got a busy day planned. Where can I fit in a nap? :rotfl:

'Night all!
