Morning all! It appears that DS has the creeping crud now too.......again :headache: But, being the bad mommy I am, I sent him to school with a "try to stick it out" but I just know the nurse will be calling me. I rationalized it that if he can torture his sister, slide on his sled down the hill to the car, and pick out celery & red peppers for his school snack, he can't be too sick :teacher:

But.....but......isn't that HEALTHY?

My kid takes a fruit roll up every day...that counts as fruit, right?

Morning, my loserific friends! I have vowed to have a completely LOSER day today. My FIL left after an 11 day stay this morning, and I'm quite tired of keeping up with everything. I'm going to stay in my PJ's and watch TV all day long. ::yes::

Morning Losers!

So, I have an important appointment this afternoon at 4...I'll be around all day getting ready for it. My nerves are starting to get the better of me.

It's in the bag, my friend. :thumbsup2

Yup, I have weird kids! I have cookies and other sweet stuff and they want Fruits & Veggies :confused3 I still have 2 basically untouched bags of Lindts Chocolates from Christmas that Santa gave them  They usually eat 1 or 2 and forget about it - and that goes for any sweets - cookies, candy, cakes, I cannot tell you how many Oreo's I have thrown away because they were old :scared1:

Good lord! It's world war three to get anything resembling a fruit or veggie down in my kids....I've given up on veggie fights and stick to fruits at this point.

Aww, I hope he feels better. I'm waiting for a call from the school nurse too. My 13 year old left this morning complaining about not feeling well, but I suspect that he's just tired. I suppose we'll see.

No that tub didn't have the macaroni in it, just dirt and God knows what else :scared1:

:lmao:

You know, I was reading through that thread earlier, looking to see if any of you had posted there yet. :lmao:

Speaking of Purple Rain, anyone know why Morris Day and the Time were on the Grammys singing "Jungle Love" OhweeOhweeOh

:scared: NOT cool.

It seems my kids like everything my husband & I both like combined. I have more of a hassle trying to get out of the produce aisles and explaining why we are not buying $5 pints of blueberries, $5 per pound red peppers, etc. than any other area. They even like the weird stuff - asparagus, mushrooms (even raw!), tomatoes, summer squash, etc. I think the ONLY vegetable/fruit that they have not taken to is beets, and how many people really LIKE beets. I count myself lucky that neither kid is a picky eater, no making 3 different meals in my house :thumbsup2 They eat whatever is cooked and put on a plate.

Ok, my kids (at least the two little ones) LOVE veggies, but there's never been a wasted Oreo in my house. I can tell you without a doubt that if they left their Lindt chocolates laying around, they'd never see them again, either. :rolleyes1

Shhhhhh, I don't like chocolate! Otherwise, believe me it would be gone. I won't tell you about the 15 bags of M&M's in my freezer right now!:rolleyes1

You don't want to be in my house (with #2DS) when we run out of bananas or the only ones we have are still green

But neither of the twosome will touch a veggie. Well unless it's to scoop out some dip, and they don't eat the carrot they just lick the dip off.

My son has food allergies, so we have to be careful what he eats...he lives by applesauce and peaches...but we can't eat either of those anywhere but in our house because sometimes they have pear juice in them. He's allergic to pears and bananas, so those are out.

:rotfl: I was at a party one time (a kid's birthday party), and there was a tray of carrots and celery with a big bowl of ranch dip. As the day went on, the dip dissapeared, but the veggies didn't. I stood nearby to watch for a while. A little boy ran up with a carrot in his hand, dipped a HUGE hunk of dip, licked it off, dipped it again, and ran off with his carrot. A few minutes later, the guest of honor toddled her little 3-year old self over, scooped an entire handful of dip, and toddled away licking at her fingers. :scared:

Well I got one tub done, well sort of. Filled the tub with hot water & some bleach & let it sit for about 20 mins then rinsed it out. I'll scrub it in a little while.
Now my house smells like bleach :crazy2:

I think you should be able to buy "bleach sented spray" to spray right before people get in so that they will think you're house is really clean.

And also they won't stay long cause they won't be able to stand the smell :thumbsup2
