I took pics of my two birdies today, because I haven't in a while, & it snowed out today.

This one is Polly. He's about 8 months old. I got him in Oct. when my parakeet passed onto the Rainbow Bridge.

This one is Lucky. He's named Lucky because my friend's neighbor found him on the street. My friend has too many birds of his own (he has five) & Lucky wasn't getting enough attention, so he gave Lucky to me. I think he's about 5 1/2 yrs. old:

Good thread...although I'm getting a bit squeamish reading about some of the eye problems. Ugh, I don't know why that gets to me, I wear contacts and have to touch my eyeballs everytime I put them in. Anyway...

Getting Ready to watch American Idol......

Does anyone else think this year has very little talent as compared to last year's?

I get so ticked off at some of their choices that get through. When you see someone forget all of their words in Hollywood and they still make it through only to stink up the stage just p*sses me off. I always got annoyed at votefortheworst.com then I went there the other day and read their section about how the show is edited and I'm so angry about some of the things they do (and I have always been a big fan and voted for two hours a night) I haven't even felt like voting this year. I do love Melinda though I just can't bring myself to muster up the energy and pick up the phone. Last year I had my phone and mine and DH's cells and had all three going.
