And my kid's first snow day ever? We spent an hour in the snow. At some point, he began singing to himself a little ditty he made up: "Orlando, Orlando, Orlannnnndooooooo, Orlandooooo." I'm thinking he might think snow is overrated.

But we're thanking Barack for the wonderful snow anyway.

I can't watch 'live' today, much to my sorrow, as I have to go to the V.A. hospital and pick up the Gman. 200 miles round trip but wth?! He's happy to be free today and wants to go immediately to Ihop. The food in the 'lockup' isn't good. He calls it an 'enforced diet'. Before we can go to get 'Poppa', Bella has a riding lesson so I may take over the tv in the office and watch while I can.

But I'll be glued to the video once I get home and and singing all the way to and from the hospital. I've loaded the Ipod up with celebratory tunes.
