Well, my mom does all of the planning, and since the VMK board went down and I couldn't stand the Youth Board when I could post there, most of my posts have been political and religious based. Heck, even when the VMK board was up, a majority of my posts have been political or religious in nature. I like controversy. I need to work on that as it is a weakness of mine that I find very hard to break.

Besides, we here at the Dis have the best political and religious hateful rants . . . I mean debates on the internet.


Also about the New Deal, this isn't the first time to have heard it. I have had extremely liberal teachers and text books say that it wasn't the New Deal that saved America, but World War II. What Roosevelt had done was effectively a band aid for the masses and held off until the economy was strengthened by the war. We were one of the few countries to leave World War II more economically sound than most and allowed us to enter into World Power status. World War I pushed to the forefront, but WWII cemented that fact.
