Just don't spend your wedding night watching Larry King. :rotfl:

I know I said it on the other thread, but again....Congrats to you and Ed. :) Have a blast!

I tried posting a cartoon to get people to talk about something else, but people are having too much fun with the Obama vs Clinton debate.

Your cartoon was great. My pleas fell on deaf ears. As a matter of fact I think they fell on blind eyes, too. ;) But we're gonna get nowhere if we continue to devour each other.

I adore wvrevy and hope he comes back quickly.

Jenny, I wish you and Ed worlds of happiness. I'm so happy for you. I've lurked a bit and think your wedding dress is fab-U-lus! TiVo the darned primaries girl!

Has Joe imploded yet? I haven't looked lately. ;)

I think he ran away. He seems to do that when too many people start throwing facts around that disagree with his preconceived notions.

I really thought we could get a discussion going about how the Army hid evidence of negative reports on Iraq. It was smart of them to release that little gem while the Primaries were in full swing-nobody was paying attention.

Iraq invasion a 'breach of duty'

Tony Blair's government breached its duty to service personnel by failing to ensure the invasion of Iraq was lawful and justified, Law Lords have heard.

Beverley Clarke and Rose Gentle, the parents of two dead soldiers, are attempting to secure a public inquiry into British armed involvement in Iraq.

The mothers say soldiers have the right not to have their lives put at risk in illegal conflicts.

A committee of nine Law Lords is hearing their appeal.

Good for them! I wish them every luck.

It makes absolutely no difference what those reports say. The 30%ers refuse to admit any flaw in judgement where Dubya is concerned. None whatsoever. It's an effort in futility to attempt to argue with them.

We keep forgetting here, Rich, that Blair has a lot of accountability in this Iraq debacle also. I'm sure you guys haven't forgotten, though. I wish them luck too.

Eddie threw some good stuff out there, and it appears even Dawn has left the building. It's funny how they push and push and push other people to comment on the stuff they post, but as soon as someone posts facts they don't like-away they go.

Blair was Bush's lapdog and lied just as much. He came out with the "Dodgy Dossier" that claimed that there was "solid" evidence that Saddam possessed "stockpiles" of WMDs that could be "launched within 45 minutes". Memos from Number 10 stated otherwise.

The infuriating thing is that he smarmed and talked his way out of all of it without suffering the consequences. Call me crazy, but when I'm lied to and said lie costs so many deaths, I like to hold those at fault accountable.

Well, 70% of us here in this country feel the same way.

Nooooooooooooo Dawn started a WHOLE NEW THREAD!

She's obviously trying to get her thread count up for some reason. I was noticing how many she's started in the last couple of days. lol!
:dance3: Doing the "I love liberals" happy dance. We are in such a good place. Peace, love and dope. :)

I found this interesting - I'm a big fan of The Daily Show - and they did a segment last night about what is torture. And basically they said that after WWII the allies prosecuted 8 Japanesse men, and executed them for Waterboarding our troops. This is a country we dropped 2 atomic bombs on............ so why is it not torture when we do it?

I want to get the book "The Commision" about the 911 commision report. :scared1: Seems like Karl Rove had his hand in that too!:scared1: :scared1: The author put LOTS of blame on Condi Rice.

Well why for so many years was it okay for us to have Nuclear weapons and no one else....there to date are only about 5 other countries(that we are for sure of) that have them.

Sure many countries cant figure that on out...:confused3
