This is the ornament I sent to Marilyn!

And it is front and center. Just toooo adorable. My moose is right under mister mousy!

Just stopping in for a second to say Hi! and Nancy, you would be so proud of me.... NOT!

I am making spritz cookies. Put it in a new press from QVC. Won't come out! Chuck says the dough is too dry. Add milk. Try again...no luck. Get out the battery operated cookie press. Doesn't work. Get out Mom's hand cookie press (aluminum and copper, must be 50 yrs old). Put the dough in there and wallah! It works. Could have sworn I heard Mom laughing from above and saying "You Dork!"

Karen!!! I would LOVE to meet you!!! The more bodies the better!!! We are meeting at 11am the morning of Dec. 30th in Downtown Disney in front of the snoring lego man!! We will chat for a while and take it from there...lunch if we feel like it, or not if we don't! You have seen my pic but just in case, look for the woman with Jennifer's little hat and TWO lime green bandanas hanging from her back pack!!! They are "day-glo"...can't miss me!!! This is gonna be such fun!!!


Well ya'll...it's strep! I knew it this morning when I looked at his throat. I really try not to diagnose for the docs...esp the ones who don't know me that well...kinda steps on their manhood or soemthing!!! NO MAN has an ego like a doc....but I won't go on that rant!!! So one of the older docs in the practice comes in and asks what's wrong. What do I say? "I think he has strep!!!" I blame it on no sleep last night. I got one of these and watched him check everything BUT the throat saying things like, "looks good" and "nothing wrong here" etc. Then he looks at David's throat and says yuck!! I wanted to kick him!!! So the poor little guy can't go to his Cub meeting today...in his OWN HOME!!! Ah well....he feels so bad right now he doesn't care. Tomorrow it will hit him.
Gotta run get ready for the Cubs! Caitlin rides at 3pm and I need to do some shopping today since I will be home with a sickie tomorrow!!!! Talk to you guys later!!!

Sorry it took so long to get here, but there's no snow on the ground and the sled dogs had a terrible time...not to mention the hassle the border guards gave us. Who knew my lasagna could be considered a 'national security threat'. Sorry ladies....I'm empty handed. Well almost....where shall I put my suitcase and sleeping bag?

I have a tree. It has an angel on top. Can I get away with just doing that much??? After the glorious Christmas we had in Disney last year I had forgotten how much Christmas hurts until today.

I bought a push button-thingee one...hate it.
I too find the old one that I inherited works the BEST! I just stick with it.
And I am proud of you. I haven't done any baking
But....the tree is up and has lights and there are ornaments all over the floor, so I guess I should put them on the tree

Why is it that boys think that doing the bare minamum on their homework will be ok? Kevin has to do a poster board book report. All he had to do was read the book and draw pictures telling the story. Normally he loves to draw. Well he brings down his finished book report with one person drawn on their and the rest scribbled in. Our 3 year old could of done better. Man we thought the hardest thing was him getting the book done on time but he got that finished early.

Anyone want a 9 year old?

Marilyn I love your snow village!!! Iam impressed that you painted them yourself....the houses are beautiful. I have a snow village too but I am not talented enough to paint it myself...mine is Dept.56. I started with one house 22 years ago...now the village fills half of my living room!!! Takes me 3 days to put up...but I love it. The village has turned out to be a reflection of our family...a bride and groom by the church (our Christmas wedding), a riding ring...my horse crazed Caitlin, a merry go round that really spins and plays music (with Mickey and Minnie standing beside it). I will try and get a pic of it to Kim and maybe she would be kind enough to post it for me. My newest house is really a Christmas shop with multi colored lights around the outside that really light up!

The Go-carts were a huge hit!!! I was glad...Bob worked his butt off on this project. Too much testosterone in that garage today ..I watched in awe from a distance. I lost track of how many power tools were in use at the same time!!!! I just knew we would be resetting the circuit breaker!!! It did become difficult after awhile to separate the "Dads" from the "boys"...imagine that. What a sight to see sons steering their carts down the hill with their Dads riding on the back!!!! Great day...except for my little guy. Hopefully there will be time for him to make hs cart with Dad over the holidays.

Beccy? Want a nine year old? No thanks...one almost nine year old boy in this house is enough! (wonders that they are)

Marilyn I'm packing Kevin up would you also like 5 and 3 year boys? They need a Grandmother to spoil them. And your Villiage is great. Juat warning you the 3 year old will like it to much.

Dream go carts. The boys scouts here never got into them for some reason Thank God! We do to much with the Scouts sometimes it drives me nuts.

Well it's finally up and decorated and looks rather pretty if I do say so myself. The kids helped put the ornaments on. That was interesting. I almost had a totally purple tree ROFL.

We are going to end up being late for Ryans performance. They are supposed to be there by 6:30 and the clothes are still in the dryer!!! Oh well as long as he gets there BEFORE 7:00 we will be okay.

I will be really glad when this is over and our days become our own again.

Time to wrap presents (and maybe finish shopping).....hum maybe I should grocery shop too. Haven't done that since we got back......LOL.....slim pickings for food.

I love going through ornaments. I always buy some after Christmas and then it is a surprise when I find them the next year.
A great Cindy's castle that a light fits in to make it glow.
And we bought ornaments on our January trip
So fun.

Anyone have an idea for a gift for a 20 year old female? In the $30 range?
I'm tired of DVDs for all the gifts.
Also need to DH something......I'm stumped on that.
