Howdy!

The baby left around 12:30, the boys, DH & BIL are all playing video games, so I am here DIS'ing while everyone else is occupied!

Got a referral to an ENT for Julian and he has an appt. tomorrow morning. I couldn't believe he got in that quick! So, I guess tomorrow we'll find out more about having his tonsils out. It looks like it will be done, its just a matter of when. I am a nervous wreck just thinking about it! He, of course, is happy to eat lots of popsicles/ice cream, and miss school. LOL

Hope the meet went well. I hope you all got lots of pics of my buddy Jason!

I'm alone!! I'm alone!! Happy dance!! DH and DD went to the movies!!
Well, Pam, it wouldn't normally be so bad....but we spent 9 days at WDW 24/7, came back and he only worked a week before this vacation thing came (we didn't know until right before it was going to be for so long)......and....since he's been sick, he has just been sitting around doing nothing!! I wish he could go out to his shop and get my video cabinet built!! But....no, it will have to wait.

I haven't got to go shopping yet.....I hope I will, but I'm being good, and housework is first!!

Okay, well this is just too funny! It's been raining off and on all day here. One minute it'll be daylight outside, sun shining bright, then the next, thundering and pouring rain & it's sooooo dark. Well, it's so dark out now that my outside lights came on. I have them on a timer to turn on at dusk. Um, unless something happened, dusk isn't for another 4 hours or so. Oh well... Sad part is I forgot to get my newspaper, so it's a bit on the soggy side by now. Ooops...

Jay..it was like that here yesterday. Sun came out, I had to get my sunglasses out...what is that bright thing?
Then dark and rainy.....but t really isn't that unusual here.

So....only vacuuming and mopping and laundry to put away and then I can go bracelet searching!! .......but only the close places (I really don't hold much hope for that).

Had a Wonderful meet with Jodie and here DD and Michele and her two DD's. We shopped we ate and had a lot of fun. Jason never showed :0( We waited about a half hour but didnt find him at all. I went a bit nuts at DTD and spent way too much money ROFL. Jodie and Michele are such sweeties. I cant wait for the rest of you to get the chance to meet them.

Speaking of showers... apparantly my MIL thinks that since she's a woman too, it's ok to walk in on me at any time or place during the day!!! ACK!!! One quick knock and a whispered: "Are you decent?" and the door opens.... EXCUSE ME!?!?!? Reading and answering my email was bad enough... now this!? ARGH!!!! My bedroom door will be receiving a new doorknob this week...one with a GIANT lock on it!!

Ants. Unfortunately we're long past Raid as a solution. We're also past Malathion and Diazonon. The rains here have been incredible... the Sacramento River will be reaching flood stage soon... all of the sloughs, creeks, etc... are overflowing and I think all of the excess rain is driving them into the homes by the millions. Tom has sprayed the yards, as well as every inch of the house outside, also under the house and they're still coming in. So frustrating!

Jay, it sounds as though you're getting some of the weather we've had over the last week or so. It's been dark and dreary here for a couple of weeks now.

No Jason!?! Why that big chicken weenie!!! Hmmm.... hope nothing happened. Michele and Karen got to meet my long time duct tape patrol cohort/YaYa buddy!!! Not fair!! Anybody have a picture of the event that they'd like posted??? *Hint hint*

Well... spent all of one my gift certificates.... got a ton of Yankee stuff, a new tart burner, some perfectly delicious Patchouli body spray, and a NON (gasp) Yankee Orange Creme candle that is just to die for! Only found one of the charms I wanted. I had Tom look online at the Zopinni charms with me last night. Know what he picked? The ice skate! Found it today, but of the ones he chose, that was all they had at the store today, so will save the rest of my gift certif. until after their new shipment arrives.

Nancy, do you have a Country Clutter store near you? I did a quick search and learned that there's one in Auburn, WA as well as Centralia, WA. That's the only nationwide chain that I personally know of, that carry them...other than your occasional Hallmark, but again because those are generally privately owned, it's not always the case. All of the other stores that carry them around here are privately owned gift shops similar to Country Clutter... also both of our malls have a Italian Charm kiosk out in the center of the mall. I'm sorry you didn't find them today.

Oooh! I saw all of the Christmas Yankee stuff at half price! I got a 22 oz. Gingerbread on sale!

No Country Clutter. The one we had closest closed in August....I bought LOTS of Yankee then!!

Auburn is 75 miles and Centralia about 150...........so. I will go to the "real" mall on Thrusday or Friday. Or I guess I will be buying online!
