Okay you all can hush now! I am done packing! I am going to do one last run through tonight but I am done. Everything is packed and ready to go. I have even remembered to put my pins in my checked baggage so that I won't have any trouble with them at security. And I've even gone shopping for a new backpack and gone out to lunch with Luis in this time... so how's that for efficient. Now if I could only go sleep until 4 am tomorrow

Oh and I got a call from my buddy Dan at Florida... while we are sitting here with 31 degrees and a small snowfall, he is in sunny Florida with temps in the 60s... grrr... I don't want to wait another day

Ski lodge sounds good to me! I don't mind the snow as long as I am not forced to go out in it

Jennifer, I am so amazed with your organizational abilities. I rely on my Palm Pilot all the time for everything. Mostly because I like working on a computer so I can just sync files from computers. Like I have my whole schedule laid out in Excel. I do need to check to make sure I have one list in mine though before I go.

Marilyn, I am not sure if we have a full list of people and their buddies for DISCon. I can tell you that both Kim and I will be sponsoring Jodie & Jennifer and I plan to send little items to everyone via e-mail or maybe snail mail if I can.

Okay now what am I supposed to do with the rest of my day

I have a new cabana boy, his name's Tyler. Ok, he's only 6-years-old and Tiggerlover might not want her DS being a cabana boy but he's SO cute!!!

More from me tomorrow and Debbi says she's going to post some of the pictures (yikes!!!) so I'll let you know when she does. But I still think - Dis meets are FUN!!!

Pam you are too cute! Luis and I just spent the afternoon watching Men in Black II and now I am eating dinner. In a few hours I will be heading off to bed so I can at least relax while trying to get a good nights sleep

It's snowing here - we have a couple of inches on the ground and they are calling for 3-6 more by tomorrow morning. We cancelled our plans on driving down to Wheeling, WVA to see the Festival of Lights at Oglebay tonight as the weather is just too unpredictable.

We're cleaning the house instead. Good news is that my sweet hubby vaccumed the floors and is doing half the cooking for supper (not a word, I'm warning you!! )

We just got back from seeing Treasure Planet. Very cute!

And......I got my hattie from Jennifer!!
Yippee, skippee!! I'm a raring to go now.

Poor DH....his 4 day weekend ended up working on cars 2 of those days He took DD's and got snowtires, chains, oil changed and radiator flushed. She's ready for winter now....which makes me relax (a little).

Then DS took the van home last night so he can come take care of the kitties while we are gone....and the alternator went out.
DH's been working on that all day. Hopefully he'll finish tonight so he will have one day to rest......and he will be VERY ready for a vacation!!

Pam....ick! Snow. Actually I like it if we don't have to go anywhere That's why a ski lodge is just fine with me.....I'll just snuggle right in.

It's sunny and about 45 degrees here....so actually pretty good for this time of year......and no snow in the pass, so I don't have to worry (as much) about DD driving back to school tomorrow.
And only 3 weeks until she's back for winter break.

Your poor DH Nancy! Not exactly how he'd planned on spending his Thanksgiving weekend, I'm sure. I'm glad to hear a good review of Treasure Planet... I'm looking forward to that one... I'm thinking it'll be one that Cam will really like. The comparison to Star Wars was all he needed to hear in order to make him want to see it.

Well all I haven't headed off just yet. I had the chance to talk with Ray Sharpton and Dan Murphy on the phone tonight while they were waiting for the Candelight Processional to start. I want to be there now! But everything is set and even my clothes are laid out (I don't expect to be too terribly awake at 4 am) so I can head up stairs whenever I feel like.

We had snow here too, but only a dusting. It is really cold right now so I will be looking forward to the warm weather coming my way

Pam, sorry you were stuck at home. I haven't seen the lights at Oglebay but I have heard they are a beautiful thing to look at. Some time I will have to make the trip there to check them out.

Nancy, so sorry to hear of the car troubles and that your DH had to spend his vacation working on them.

Kim... you are a certified NUT! You sure you are going to be able to live with out me for about 4 days now? You'll turn all pathetic because you won't know what to do with people being nice to you. I hope someone picks on you while I am gone.

I have to admit this. I am getting so nervous about this trip. I know I will be with good friends but honestly I haven't made a trip this far for this long by myself. I am sure all will go well but just pray that nothing goes wrong with any of my flights because God help the poor person who has to deal with me when I get mad like that. My angel disappears when my flights get messed with. But the weather looks good in all places still so I doubt I will have weather delays at least
