Ah nuts! Sorry to hear your plans for this evening didn't work out Pam. House cleaning sounds like a poor substitute for what you had planned. So hubby is cooking huh? So does he make a mean squirrel stew too? Sorry I wasn't able to bring that dinner home for last night... I tried, really I did, but the darn bird zigged when I zagged.

Kim... you are a certified NUT! You sure you are going to be able to live with out me for about 4 days now? You'll turn all pathetic because you won't know what to do with people being nice to you. I hope someone picks on you while I am gone.

Been there , done that with messed up ones.....with 3 kids in tow!! It wasn't a pleasant sight, I'll tell you.

And once you are there, there will be plenty of people for you to lean on if there is a problem

All this talk of people actually about ready to leave is getting me excited!!
I actually even packed most of DH's things and put up about 6 Christmas decorations....you guys are inspiring me

You all are getting rather chatty so I will say my good nights now. I will check one last time in the morning before I leave and then I doubt I'll be able to check in until I get back. I will take tons of pictures I promise (I have space on my CF cards to hold nearly 2200 pictures) and will post some when I get back.

Nancy, you are right, once I am there I know people will be around to watch out and help me out if needed. I just hope everything before then goes well. Oh and I'll call Luis and Kim and let them know I made it okay and depending on who loves me more one or both will let you know that I made it safely.

Thought I'd pop in and say hi while DH is cutting all the boys hair.

Got my tree & decorations up yesterday. Now I just hope my kitty will leave the darn thing alone. Should be fun keeping the baby I sit for away from the tree, too.

Did some more shopping today, but still no Christmas gift shopping! DH gets his bonus this week and the boys have a Christmas Banquet at church, so we will do their shopping then.

It snowed here today too and it is COLD!! Yuck!

My MIL called awhile ago to let me know my little nephew/godson just left the ER. He has bronchitis and an ear infection. If ya could, could ya send some prayers & PD his way? Thanks!!

Hi Sherry!

I'm envious! We're just cleaning the house and hope to have the tree up and everything decorated by Monday.

I do have most of my shopping done, however. I did a lot of online shopping on Thanksgiving and yesterday. I hit the mall a couple of times earlier this month, and I have a layaway at Wal-Mart. I am just waiting for the fishing licenses to go on sale and then I hope to be done.

Now everything just needs to be wrapped.

My DD signed all our business Christmas cards for me today. I just need to go address the envelopes...... sigh.....
