Afternoon everyone! I've been in and out all day long. I am actually going to go out again soon but I need my hair to dry a tad more before I head out to check for mail for my dad and go to the bank to get some cash. After that more packing  The cool news is that I went out today and bought a dress I have had my eye on for a while. It was $55 off of the original price ($130). I wanted it for my sister's wedding so I could have a nice black dress for more formal occasions.

Kimmie, all I can say is that I am an angel and I have a keychain AND an ornament to prove it :p

Carol, glad to hear you had a great time! I think DIS Meets are the best :)

I had to say that Luis said one of the sweetest things to me today. He made me promise to have a good time next week. He just wishes me to have a good time :)

Anyone want to come and organize and pack for me? ;)

Elaine,
Trust me - you would NOT want me to come pack and organize for you as those two words are not in my vocabulary!:(

Marilyn,
Your kicks were high and I commend you for them, but next time, for cryin' out loud, wear the knickers/bloomers! And, I want to hear all about Beth at the Opera!:Pinkbounc Is that when Pavaretti (sp?) had to have surgery on his vocal cords??

Nancy,
Please come to Penna. and take care of me. Pretty, pretty please!!:smooth:

Bonnie,
Get well! :)

Kim,
Hey, I didn't do the split - you did. Kind of makes me wonder if you were wearing the standard issue white undergarment or not?
Pam

Pam, well someone has to be better at this packing thing than I am. This is driving me nuts. I did buy a dress today and bought a watch and went to the bank too. I can get all that done but to pack... just doesn't happen.

Elaine I will come pack for you if you take me with you. If I forget anything I'll buy it there.

LOL Elaine, you want me to head for Columbus? I think that I was completely packed about 2 months before we went. Then I didn't know what to do with myself while I waited for the day to come.:p

Sure Bonnie, come on down! I'd love the help and I'd take you along with me too if you like :p

Well it is finally quiet for a few minutes. I'm home alone! :)

I haven't started packing yet Elaine. Too many other things keep coming up :(
I did make it to the bank....and then forgot to go to the post office and stop the mail while we're gone, so I will have to go back to town again sometime while they are open before we go.

Pam....PA is a looong way away, but did you know that DS actually went to college in Pittsburgh for 2 years?....guess I missed my chance, huh?

Now that DS has left I have that bedroom and bathroom to clean  I think TG is too close to this trip....hum, so do I do it again next year? Decision is still out on that one.

Howdy Ya Yas!!! Did ya'll have a wonderful Thanksgiving??? The beach was COLD but wonderful...family, hugs, laughter and fun....can we do it again???:p

Elaine!!!! Finish packing woman...you leave TOMORROW you lucky devil you...oh...I mean angel!!;) Did you perchance receive a box from Dream yet? I hope so!!!!

When we walked in the house this evening...and Zoe had finally gotten enough hugs...I looked on the kitchen table and there it was...A YA YA PACKAGE!!!!:bounce: Now you guys have spoiled me rotten with Ya Ya packages lately and this one was absolutely wonderful too!!!! THANK YOU MICHELE!!!!!!! Michele was my Ya Ya ornament buddy and she outdid herself!!! I got a Santa votive candle holder with the yummiest Yankee Candle "Christmas Eve" scent votives...Michele I am burning it now and the whole house smells like Christmas!!! The Santa is beautiful and will be a precious addition to my Santa collection!!! Michele also sent a pretty GREEN basket;) AND...this is my most favorite part...an ornament that spells out the word "Dream" with a tiny "pixie" that sits on top!!!! Oh Michele I LOVE IT!!! It is all perfect!!! I will try and post a pic of the "Dream" ornament as soon as I can!! OH....and Michele included a beautiful picture of herself....as sweet and wonderful as you sound!!! Thank you for all of the thought you put into choosing such perfect things to make me smile Michele!! I hope we can catch up with eachother when I am in WDW in a few weeks!!!

It will take all night to catch up to you mothy dorks!!! Gotta finish dinner...back soon!

Hello everyone!

Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. Mine was good. :)

Only have a few minutes and wanted to pop in and say HI! Going to go and start bringing down some of our Christmas decorations! :)

Bonnie, went to Ryan's in Sandusky for dinner again today! :) Your gonna have to give me your # so I can call you next time we are over that way. :)

Well, gotta run!! Have a great night! :)

Hi Jodie! I'm glad to hear you had a good time, but am "gladder" ;) that you're back with us where you belong. :p

Where's Pam's kettle? I almost had dinner for us tonight. :( I don't know what it was, but it had feathers, was HUGE, was flying and it came within inches of smashing into the drivers side window of my car on the way home tonight. Completely freaked me out I tell you!! Whatever it was, I think it's little bird life must've flashed before it's eyes tonight. :(

Why is makeup so #$%@ expensive?!?! Never mind... don't answer that. I already know the answer... because women like me are stupid enough to buy it. I bought a foundation application brush at Macy's that I ended up not needing because I'm going to go to a different type of foundation. The brush was 30.00. I thought I'd take it back, get a couple of the eyeshadow/liners instead and come home with the majority in change. WRONG! Two measley little eyeshadows for 25.00!! Granted, it's wonderful... but I don't think I'll be buying this brand very often... wish I could though. I'm loving it! :(

Hey, I didn't do the split - you did. Kind of makes me wonder if you were wearing the standard issue white undergarment or not?
 Ooops. I knew I forgot something. :o

Bonnie, The beach house was lovely, but I have to admit, nothing has felt like home the way our little winter wonderland down in the basement did. *Kim begins dreaming of quiet romantic evenings snuggled up in front of the huge stone fireplace...a massive sheepskin rug, giant fluffy floor pillows and the softest down filled comforters.... soft music, candles burning, and lightly "spiked" hot cocoa....* Hmmm... shall I go on? Ummm probably not.

Shhh... Kim quietly congratulates Bonnie on the possible Christmas gift. Yay! That's so cool!! :p Do you have one picked out Bonnie, or will he be choosing it?

Awww..... Kimmie - I even have you thinking like me now!!:Pinkbounc You automatically thought of cooking that baby up!

It sounds like it could have been a turkey or a ring necked pheasant or a grouse. Do you know if you have any of those birds where you live? A pheasant once came through the grille of my DH's truck and did some major damage. And I've heard of turkeys flying through the windshield of people's cars as well. Thank goodness you're ok!

Bonnie,
That would be a wonderful gift from your DH!

Nancy,
Did your son go to Pitt or Carnegie Mellon? Both are only 40 miles from my house. DH and I would love to go to Washington and Oregon sometime. We've been in 39 states so far and hope to get to all 50.

Pam

OK I think I am almost caught up!! Geez!! :p

Thanks for the welcome "home" Kim but ....ahem....I noticed a few pages back that you tried to rally the Ya Yas to pick on me!!! Uh huh...SOME friend YOU are woman!!!;) Didin't work though did it? Hee hee...it's Elaine's "Snow Jodie" creation...awfully hard to pick on Snow White!!! Hee hee! BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Maybe it was a turkey that almost hit your car, fleeing for it's little turkey life! It chose YOUR car because it knew it would be safe from being cooked!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA...sorry...couldn't help it!

Bonnie!!!! Oh that is sooooo sweet about your potential Christmas surprise....couldn't happen to a nicer lady. Your dh must be a sweetie!! Now if he would just get used to US!!:p

Well I have been packing. I just took a break and now I will have to start going through everything with my lists and seeing what I have left to do. I only have tomorrow before cutting out here. I checked my flight and it is still on for 7 am Sunday  Goodness, what made me pick such an early flight !

Jodie, I just finished sending you a PM saying I got the package and I do love what was inside... too cute!!! It is currently hanging on my tree and the button is on my bag :)

Sherry, good to see you again! We have our tree up but I am counting on Luis to get all the other decorations up next week.

Nancy, be happy with yourself... at least you made it to the bank... so that is a start :teeth:

UGH, back to packing now....

Well, y'all DO take some getting used to!

Kimmie, please do not give Pam more ammunition--oops--I mean meat for that stew! Glad the birdie still has its life and glad you are okay!

I'm not holding my breath for this surprise, but to answer you, it would mean more to me if he would pick it out himself.

Welcome home Jodie! I was looking at that silly box you sent me today and LOL. Trying to figure out something to put in it so I can send it back to you so your mailperson can think that you have crazy friends too!

Well! I certainly hope you're not referring to anyone here!
Pam

Pam...DS went to Carnegie-Mellon until his finances ran out :earseek: ......and he missed the West Coast :)
Come and visit anytime.....

Elaine....you picked that early of a flight, so you could have more time at WDW!! :teeth: Same reason I picked a 10:30 PM flight!!

DH is getting interested in the trip now :) He finally realizes how close it is getting. Asked me where were eating!! LOL ....:teeth:

KIm...what time does your flight get into Orlando?

Nancy,
I can believe it about the $$$$!!! My SIL graduated from there 17 years ago and at that time her Dad paid over $36,000 for 4 years. I can only imagine what it would cost today! She majored in art, what was your son's major?

Pam

Pam...he is majoring in computer engineering :)
And....try $30,000!!......a YEAR!! :earseek:

He seems happy at the University of Washington now (and I know I am!!). He graduates in March!! (Now if he can only find a job.....that industry is not the best right now).

Hey Nancy...ds can come work for my dh!!! He's the director of engineering and development for his company. You all ready to relocate to the midwest? ;)

Hi Jodie!! Nice to see you back and that you had a nice visit!!!
