Only 4 days. Flying over on the 16th in the morning, and leaving the world the afternoon of the 19th. Anniversary is on the 18th.

The last few days, she's really been hurting - hurting. Even sitting in a chair for long is bad. She has episodes every so often, lasts a week, sometimes less, and then the pain subsides for a time, but never goes away. She has learned to live with it over the years, and tries to hide it from me, but I know.

She has 2 herniated discs, I believe in the L4 - L5 region. First one from around 2001. 2nd from a few years ago. The bad pains don't last usually more than a week, but it never leaves her. Most days are at least manageable, but not lately.
