TRUE STORY: Tech Rep: "How may I help you?" Caller: "The cup holder on my PC is broken and I am within my warranty period. How do I go about getting that fixed?" Tech Rep: "I'm sorry, but did you say a cup holder?" Caller: "Yes, it's attached to the front of my computer." Tech Rep: "Please excuse me I’m confused. Did you receive this as part of a promotion, at a trade show? How did you get this cup holder? Does it have any trademark on it?" Caller: "It came with my computer; I don't know anything about a promotion. It just has '4X' on it." At this point the Tech Rep had to mute the caller, because he couldn't stand it. The caller had been using the load drawer of the CD-ROM drive as a cup holder, and snapped it off the drive.

We reckon this might be a little more practical

I honestly don't know what to think. Mum is being very helpful in finding stuff for me and so on. She's taking me to the airport before work tomorrow even though she's going way south before back up and west. Of course I'll have two hours to kill.....but....I just don't know what she'll say when we meet for lunch.

She wants the best for you.....it's gotta be difficult for her...knowing that he's what you want but its complicated.

Maybe she'll make the effort to get to know him first?

I haven't actually heard it before. But it is interesting I haven't really used a CD drive recently either other than when I was trying to upload photos from CDs that no longer seem to work

Good Morning all, hope everyone is fine. PIO hope the fair was fun. What is wattle? Boy I really feel uneducated. Yes DH and I answered all those fun games as the boards had no action ( due to Irene ).

It's been a terrible hurricane...now tropical storm but I'm glad NYC didn't get a more powerful storm surge and flooding. Was watching some coverage and they were concerned about water getting into the power system which would mean they'd shut power down to protect it.
Very sad the deaths. Millions without power

The Wattle is a national flower of Australia. It's little puffy balls of yellow. The reason for mentioning my nose is that those yellow balls are all pollen....so when the wind blows.....aaaaaachoooooo
But they are beautiful. Hopefully PIO will put up photos.

Just at the airport. Assuming he survives Quarantine and the flight isn't delayed I should be with my beloved in a bit over an hour

The arrivals board at the airport is a waste of space. It is only listing flights that have arrived. Tracking back to an hour ago. Nothing that is yet to arrive. I've had to look up the airport website to check the status of his flight and where to wait...
