It's good all survived and you got a workout in. Well at least one pushup right?

Goodnight, this is it for me.

I just tripped over Delilah in the hallway and fell flat on my face. Thank god I wasn't going down the stairs, since she was right at the top of them.

Glad to read that you and Delilah are both well.

Checking in from after dinner...with no food porn. But dinner was good. We had a pumpkin soup for starters, green fish curry and rice followed by a chocolate lava cake. In a food coma and also sleepy. One round of the games board before bed time.
:cloud9:

We had a collapse in our tunnel yesterday, so the light at the end has dimmed.

Turns out the Estate people once again misrepresented this lady who comes in and cleans out the place. She has come in and boxed up a bunch of stuff for us, but now it seems that me and Darcy get to spend today (and tomorrow if she is available) loading up the car and going to thrift stores hoping they will take our boxes of crap.

Anything she doesn't get through this weekend, we're on our own for the rest of the stuff. She says she can come back next weekend, but we want to have it all done before then. :headache:

Hmmm I'd skip the curry but the rest sound delicious. So they did not allow photos huh?

So what percent of stuff is gone? I hope it's high.

Sometimes it is better to do it yourself. More work but worth it in the long run. Here is an idea that show Clean house they have the doanation trucks come and pick up the rest of the stuff. I would check that out cause it seems like they will take anything.

That's a good idea, if you don't care where it goes, maybe someone will come and pick up the boxes. I help some friend do spring cleaning of parents/granparents house and they did this.

There's still at least 5-10 SUV loads. :faint:

Unfortunately, the thrift stores here are a lot pickier. They also take several days to schedule the pickup. If we called today it might take several days for them to come out and the Contractor will hopefully start this week.

Do you have Deseret Industries there of Goodwill? I've seen there trucks around, though not when I've been in LA that I recall. Though understandable they may take a while to pick up.

Can you fit all of the stuff in a garage so you can get the renters in?

We have to empty the garages so the contractor has a place to warehouse various house fixtures while they rennovate the place.

So when will you start moving the boxes to goodwill? Can you move out as the contractor moves in?

As I write this (on a short break), we are going through the complete mess of boxes this lady deemed "only appropriate for donation" and repackaging them I'm a manageable fashion. We are taking out such things that we think might be still garage saleable and boxing neatly (as opposed to tossed half hazardly)those things we will take to a thrift store. So far we have about 1/3 a load ready to go and a mountain of hastily packed boxes. Ugh!

Are you coming up with much that you thought would have sold?

Doing ok, having late lunch. Did you fall into bed and then fall into sleep?
