The Last to Post-2nd Edition - Part 3

We've got over 50 pairs of cowboy boots, another 20-50 boxes of stuff Fran plans to list on eBay, and that's only part of what is in storage. We just need one good weekend where people buy the stuff from the parents house, and get on with the remodeling. Hopefully we walk away with a few thousand dollars and them move on to the next chapter. The new tenants have already agreed to about $2500 a month so each month we delay costs us another $2500!

Seeing that you understand the opportunity cost, maybe you should put all the storage stuff on Fran's side of the bed. She can decide to get it sold or sleep on it for a while. :rolleyes1

The boots and stuff have been next to her side of the bed for over two years and she never did anything with it! :lmao: It's not that crap that is holding us up, it's the stuff we boxed up preparing for the door installation that we tagged for this garage sale. We have to reincorporate it into their house so the estate sale can pull it out and price it.

So it will be for sure an estate sale? It just a question of who you hire to run it?

Yeah that's the fastest most efficient way to get rid of it all.

When one of my grand parents died an estate sale was done. The thing I liked best was they sold the silverware. Nothing special about the silverwear, but someone came and bought it.

They have lots of stuff like that, everyday and special stuff. I just want it to go away and we get money in our pockets.

Hats too? Why do you have all of these?

Have you ever heard of Cowboy Action Shooting? It's one of the fastest growing sports in the world (or it was a few years ago). Basically it's Old West Competition Target Shooting, you have to use single action firearms, but it's only 50% about the shooting. The other 50% (or possibly even more in some cases) is about "looking the part". She wanted to get into it back in around 2008 so she started buying up guns, western clothes, boots, hats, leather (holsters, ammunition belts, etc) for her persona. Then she decided on another persona, in the meantime, she bought clothes for me. We just put all my Western Wear and some of hers in a closet we emptied out. I have more Western Clothes than some people have daily clothes and I've never worn them except one outfit. Now I'm two sizes too big for them all! :lmao:

I don't know if we have one of those...lots of Berettas, Colts and Rugers though!

What will you do with those? Colt Peacemakers are old, I think 1880ish so very collectable.
