The thing is, the entrance route, BVS may be done before F&W time. So what's the big deal with that? It's not like the special event people who work during F&W are now the people doing construction.

I have read that Carsland is shaping up pretty well. All rumors but they seem to indicate it will take a catastrophy to keep it from being done next summer. Something like a month of monsoon in LA or a quake that breaks the freeways. I see some conservative estimates of when it will open and think they will be easy to beat. It may depend mostly on if they want everything to open at the same time and if they are waiting for all of the paint to dry.

I think after all the delays that they experienced with WoC they don't want to risk the same thing, so they are being ultra careful on this project. Evidently they put a lot of other things on hold so that this one would finish in a timely manner. I just hope that the F&W is on hold and not scrapped.

Although, not having the festival does save us several thousand dollars each spring. :

At least you can still use them with or with out the F&W festival. How is the weather there today? Here it is kinda muggy and somewhat overcast and really warm.

It was really icky and muggy here yesterday. I was sweating for no reason yesterday morning.

Did you recently get rain? I heard of lighting around the bay a couple days ago.

We had thunder and lightning and rain on Saturday. My cleaning lady took the day off to go to Raging Waters, they had planned it all summer and it was this day that we got rain!

It was gone by 10AM though and turned out to be an OK day.

That may be a big part of it. Carsland could open for Spring Break, but they won't announce it until they are 100% that it can happen. Maybe we will hear on March 15th it will open April 1st for example. Really closing up the announcement gap rather than being wrong.

Honestly I can't see them going without F&W, it may be a perk for guests like you, but a big help in operations. Why they gave it up for a couple years is the question for me, not if it will come back.

Well its a both kinda night as I mistook the steaks for pork chops, so I dont want them to go bad. Oh well. No lighting here. Just muggy now and warm. At least the laundry is done and the last batch of cookies is in the oven. Then it it will be just to fix the rest of dinner.
