It's school holidays starting the 24th September for 2 weeks. I finish up on the 23rd. I'm trying to work it so that I have the 2 weeks off.

An old client has called up (we have lunch every month or so) and he's real keen on getting me back for the project he's working on. It will come down to the daily rate. I'm getting too expensive for them and they need to work it out.

The client will survive. I think he's going to see if he can find the money and do something creative. He's called up 3 times last week to make sure that I don't rush out and get myself placed with someone else. We'll see. If not, then I may well be 'benching' for a lot longer than I would like.
