Ok so my sister and I once read a TR that mentioned 'The Kitchen Sink' from Beaches and Cream. Ever since reading that TR a few years ago we've wanted to go and check it out. I'm going in october with my brother his wife their two kids my sister and my parents. My parents say they dont have an interest in taking part of the Kitchen Sink challenge and would rather go over to Epcot food and wine festival during that 'free time' we have.

I figure between my brother and the three of us girls (plus my 2 year old niece who will gladly help out, my nephew however is only a few months old and wont be eating much of anything) we can finish it, but I'm wondering what happens if you finish it?! Anything exciting?!!!

It really isn't a challenge, it is just a menu item. I haven't had it yet, but we are hoping to get it next trip. Enjoy.

Oh really? I heard that it was kind of a big deal but it was a while ago. That's so dissapointing!

When they bring it out to the table they make a big production about it. Lights dim a bit and then different colored lights swirl around for a minute. I was glad a couple other tables had also ordered it before us or I would have been kinda embarrased by the attention. But nothing happens if you finish it off.

We did it a couple years ago, boys want to do it on upcoming trip Late October. They have lights flashing and the presentation is a big tadoo, but nothing crazy for if you finish it....and all 5 of us did! there is loads and loads of ice cream, toppings galore...its over the top. Enjoy!

We did this a few years ago with four people and it was slot of fun. I think at the time if one person finished it in one hour and did not "lose" it - it was free.

what exactly is the kitchen sink?

if yousearch for disney's kitchen sink on youtube, several videos will pop up. take a look at the 5 minute one, it show it being made and the cm talks throughout it saying what's in it.

we've been planning to get there for three trips now, hopefully in february we'll get there!

We have gotten the kitchen sink a couple of times with friends and kids, it is a lot of fun and really tasty too!! Beaches and Cream is a pretty small place, so if you have a big group, it can be a little cramped. Have fun with it!!

only 8 scoops? I am not kidding,my teen DS eats that at home when he gets the chance....... I thought it was bigger......

If one person is able to finsih it than its free dont know if they do anything if more than one person finishes it.On the menu it was $23.99 but when the bill came it was $29.99 for the 3 of us dont remeber why it was more money when the bill came,it did say on the bill why it was more but dont remmeber why.Its not just 8 scoops of ice cream thye also put sone kind of cake, cookies banas, strawberries and a whole can of whip cream
