I got the same email from Southwest last night too. Instead of my 7AM - 10AM non stop flight we got switched to a 6AM - 11:30AM with 1 stop . After being pretty irrationally mad last night I calmed down a bit today and told myself it is what it is. I didn't realize they changed schedules on other flights as well so at least we aren't the only ones I guess.

You get to make one free change, though. Just log in and change to the most convenient nonstop flight if there is one.

They didn't really "bump you off", they just changed the entire schedule and moved you to the closest comparable time. You could always book a nearby off-property hotel worst case scenario or pay cash for the extra night, although in my experience, one-night waitlists are pretty successful (this is pre-covid, though, so no guarantees). In the past, Southwest has allowed 72 hours to make the one-time free change, but I'm not sure what it is now. [I have a flight in on the 7th and received the same email It doesn't say how long we have to make the change in the email so I'm not sure.]

Yep, this is true. Its annoying though since the original flight was direct and the new one has a two hour layover in Baltimore. I'm 2.5 hours from the airport too, so it's going to make for a long day.

The best part is that this flight is booked with credits from us getting actually bumped from an overbooked flight in April.

I got the email yesterday so hopefully it is 72 hours and the website is up by then. We did look at offsite hotels but we were planning on using DME so we would have to Uber or Lyft over.

I thought it was an upgrade from Windows 3.1 to Windows 95.

Which means the site will be back down sometime around Christmas, so they can install Service Pack 1...

It’s going to be completely available and upgraded soon, but you’ll have to update your version of lotus 1-2-3, and make sure your caps lock is on. Also, use a mesh and cheesecloth network.

no, because they use to do that and it was never correct. Expect when it starts to come up, it will not be stable for awhile.

I chatted with a cast member right before shut down and asked if they were told a time on Tuesday it would open. He said they did not know but to keep checking on Tuesday for the site to be back up.
