Is anyone else interested in seeing this movie? Just from the previews, it looks like a movie I'd like to see.

Every time I see a preview, I think how glad I am RDJr got his crap together and is acting again.

I should probably read some reviews before I shell out the money, but the previews look good.

I saw an article the other day that Robert Downey Jr will do Iron Man 4, if Mel Gibson directs. Mel Gibson stood by him during his problem time and now he is doing the same thing for Mel. Stand up Guy Downey. I plan on seeing the movie. I like the three main actors.

This is one movie I'll probably go to the theatre to watch as the majority of the movie was taped about 15 miles from where I live - in Shelburne Falls, MA. We walked through the town one day and saw all the signs for the fake town it's set in. We also were there when RDJ was filming(I believe it was the scene where the potholes were showing in the window behind him), but we didn't get to see him as they stopped us at the street. It's been fun seeing the previews and seeing sights from our area that I recognize!

I heard it was good, but I don't read Rotten Tomatoes. Friend of mine went to the preview in Greenfield last night and said it was great and the local shots were VERY evident! She had a reserved ticket because RDJ rode his bike in her yard. (I think he used her "facilities" too, but not sure if I'm supposed to say that...well, I just did. Oops).

I'm not a big movie-goer but I think I will go see this one. Something about it appeals to me. Probably the caliber of the cast.

I think it looks good too. I don't think DH wants to see it. I don't know if we will make it to the theater or I will have to see it when it goes to DVD or Netflix.

Saw it today. I won't give any spoilers but I will say I was not prepared for the tone of the movie. I did go in fairly blind, I kinda knew the premise but not much else. Next movie made here better be a comedy!!

Saw this movie last night with DH and we both really enjoyed it.

Did anyone else get the impression that Hank took the fall for the car accident when Dale was actually driving? There were a couple of different scenes that kind of led me to that conclusion, but DH didn't see it until I mentioned it.

I looked online but didn't see anything else about this.

Regardless of the reviews, I'm going to see it in the next couple weeks, along with The Best of Me.

My dad and I were just talking about this on the phone - he saw both Gone Girl and The Judge this past weekend.

He said the Judge didn't get good reviews (2.5 stars?) but said it reminded him of the courtroom movies of years past. I think he liked it enough, decent acting by RDJ, but said GG was a better movie.

I saw it and liked it. I like dramas that also have a little comedy sprinkled in them. The acting was very good, in my opinion.

My DB saw it and thought it was one of the best of the year, a true "thinking" movie, kind of a throwback to Grisham procedurals from a decade ago. I like "old fashioned" movies with some meat to them, so am really looking forward to it. RDJ can do NO wrong in my eyes, either .

(I felt the same about "Rush" which just came to HBO finally, when I saw it in the theatres last year, very old fashioned, but meaty. V satisfying....)
