Woke up this morning with a heavy heart. It is so hard leaving. I packed everything, God only knows how I got everything to fit. I called down and asked for a late check out and they told me I could have the room until 1PM. We went to Boatwrights for breakfast. It was surprisingly good. We went back to the room and went for a swim. We let the girls swim until 12:30. We checked our luggage and went to Downtown Disney. We ate lunch at THE PLANET HOLLYWOOD. It was pretty good but I thought VERY expensive. It was $84.00 for the 6 of us. I couldn't believe how much it was for what we got. My daughters odered root beer for 4 of them it was $14.00. Oh well, the depression has hit! We caught the next bus and was back to the resrot by 3:00. Our towncar would be there in an hour. We sat and enjoyed the resort one last time. Got to the airport 2 hours early, and was sitting at the gate with a 1 hour and 30 minute wait. My sister in law had to have her bags searched, I was joking with the security people telling them if they unzipped my bag it would be like opening those springy cans of snakes. Clothes would fly all over the place. Our flight was uneventful. When left Orlando it was 93 degrees. When we landed in Chicago it was 45. BURRRRR!! Home Sweet Home!! I started planning our next vacation to Disney in the van on the way home!! Only 363 more days!!!! LOL!!
All in all I was really worried this year was going to be crowded. When we got there I noticed that the Magic Kingdom stayed crowded pretty much all day. You needed to either get there at the opening or get there 1 1/2 before closing. If you did this you were ok. The other parks seemed to be like last year. We slowed down a bit this year and took in more. We actually have a day left on our passes. My husband noticed the cutbacks, as for me, my head was in the clouds the whole time I was there. The PIXIE dust had worked its magic again! Any questions let me know, I'd be more than happy to answer if I can!!
