The, "I'll pose for pics & sign autographs" B-day tour! WEEERE BAAACK!!!!

UM speaks the truth, sister!

Can I suggest Brown Derby instead of Mama Melrose? Just cause it is a birthday/Christmas trip!

Also, do we have a dinner/meet planned? If not, we need to get on that!

I agree with Liz on Brown Derby....truly a destination restaurant. BUT it is 2 TS credits. And with MM...it has gotten MUCH better recently, but it still can't hold a candle to my Brown Derby! But Utah is right....you want the package. Well, we ALL want the "package" but that is for another thread....:rotfl2: ....yeah, it is one of those days....:lmao: )

Dizzy! May I hijack briefly?

This is the longest pre-trip In the history of the world ;)
Dan said he's got something long for you to measure for making fun of us....(his appetite... dirty bird worm):lmao:
Thank Goodness for the Kona for breakfast pick for the Birthday Breakfast!

CS do somewhere in World Showcase?
Flame Tree?

What about the new restaurant in AK? I forgot the name. :confused3
Yak and Yeti (does anyone else find it strange to have the term YAK in a rest name? Barf/Vomit/Chuck the Chow/Hurl/Puke/ Technicolor Yawn/porcelin Dancing/Looking into the Brown snakes home etc.....must have been taken):rotfl:
On the 7th did you call and get the Fantasmic Package with Mama Melrose? You get priority seating and early entrance and the super easy exit out. :rolleyes1 If you didn't know this, YOU are Welcome!

Okay...so I have an itenerary finalized again...with Sea World and Universal....

We are making the change to have only the basic dining pkg for the days at OKW...

I know everyone thinks I should get the Fantasmic Dining pkg..but here is the deal....Brown Derby is not up my ally...and ddefinatley not the kids...and...I think we may skip Fantasmic....I am guessing we will be at the Osborne lights a looong time....and we have seen it at least 6 times...and I love it but...if I can get them to the parade..I will be thrilled...and they may want to just head home after and swim....we shall see...

Dan is so my hero........ my family thought I was NUTS for doing that! I had everything color coded and had a huge spread sheet! I had it taped to the fridge in the cabin. I had all ADR # on it and parade times. Then I took that info and put it on bookmarks that I made on puter and had them in my purse so I could at a moments notice look and see where we were to be!

Mini Update...

#1 Saw Kung Fu Panda tonight....It is awesome and very motivational and inspirational....I actually took out a notebook I keep in my purse and took notes down of great lines...

#2 Got a res for Pop Century on Dec 5th and 6th...just in case we do go in early...and resies for dining start tom...bright and early...hmm..I wonder if they are open now...;)

Hi Dawn!:wave2: I'm coming out of Pre/Trip Report lurkdom to say that your report is HI-larious!! :worship: Figuring out dining credits gives me the shakes, so I'm sorry to say, no help. I'm hoping you'll help a sista out and give me the link to your weight loss thread. We're going a year from next Sunday, so I thought I'd better git my buttocks in gear. 60lbs. in 12 months, I may be able to do w/ the right community of supporters. May I join you all? Pleeeease?:flower3:

It's ressie day! :yay: Your choices look good--I'm glad someone else (Dan) did the math and spreadsheet to figure it all out. My 180 day mark is on the 17th and I'm still working with paper and pencil.

The only thing I worried abouat was a few posts back when you first thought of Raglan Road? You had down to order a cake from GF, too....you can do this, but I'm not sure if GF delivers anywhere else anymore. I know they used to, but I think I read on the cake thread last year that they were just inundated with orders, so you had to have an ADR at one of their restaurants to place the cake order.

I checked out your new WISH thread above...I really need to be over there. 40 lbs. need to be gone in 6 months. :faint:

Please do join us....I started in January with about the same amount of weight to lose that you have (about 30-ish pounds)...and I was not exercising at all. Now, with the help of that thread, I am a size 6 and am working toward running a half marathon (I ran 8 miles the other day! In one stretch! And I owe it all to WISH)--so please join us! 40 pounds in 6 months is totally do-able!

I took my 3 boys to see Kung Fu Panda......loved it!

Quick question...in a standard view...should I request one Pop location over another and at the Poly...which room/longhouse has the best Mk view with the theme park room charge???

Thanks!!!

At Pop I requested 50's building, lake view and we were put on the 4th floor. I loved it! Quiet and if we walked to the end of our floor you could see Illuminations! I've heard if you face the pool, you could have a room with one of those big lights shining in your window (the spotlights that shine on Lady or the Tramp?) I over-worry, though.

I had to call Ragland via the Dining people directly yesterday because they were still saying I could not make a resie....:confused3 Then I had them get out their calendar and count days...and they were perplexed why Raglands was not showing a bookable 180 days out....

Soooo....if you ever hear something that doesn't make sense....push the envelope...I would have been soooo not happy if I did not get seating for 12 because of some stupid glitch....

Body Boarders site is set...Sat Dec 6th @ 8 p.m.....seating for 12....whose coming for drinks and dancing!!!!

I sooo can't wait for the rest of this ptr! You are a wonderful storyteller and have kept me chained to desk as a captive audience all evening :surfweb: ....now that I am caught up I am forcing myself to bed in the hopes that there will be more tomorrow!!!!

fyi...my sister got married 2yrs ago and we went to DW and ate at Ohana's for dinner (not bad food but greasy) Anyway, I ordered her a cake and the only thing I said was please make it pink! So she got a white cake with brown frosting trim and yellow flowers....not sure what combination they were looking at but in no way could we figure out where the pink was! Just thought I'd let you know to be very specific when ordering the cake and then check on it before the big day.

SPECIFIC.....want a soccer ball cake with mickey ears...saw it on the cake thread as a Minnie mouse round cake w/ polka dots...and was inspired....so it will be like a 2-3 layer cake..flat on the bottom...round like a basketball on top...soccer squares with black mickey ears!!!

Yeah baby!!!:bitelip:

Do you have ANY idea how hard it was to read your PTR while at work??? I was trying so very hard not to bust out laughing several times. I also nearly sprayed my monitor with Pepsi, while reading the missing shorts story.

Anyway, I'm loving your report. (I also followed over from StagemomX3's report).

Do I need to put a warning on my link to Dawn's story, not to read it while at work. :lmao:
