The, "I'll pose for pics & sign autographs" B-day tour! WEEERE BAAACK!!!!

Dawn not sure if you have any free time but we loved to go through the hotels and see the christmas decorations. I just asked my very goofy children what they like about Disney at Christmas and my DS7 said Cinderella kissing me! They are being very goofy right now. The parades are a must see and tree lighting which we NEVER got to see! Take some time to see if any of the hotel are doing anything special.

I've got all of those things to do on my list to see as well. I think I am going to have to do two Epcot nights...one for the Candlelight and the other for the Tree lighting. We'll see though..have to see what cards Disney deals us on Sunday...hopefully! The other things I have on my list of must sees is to check out some of the different stories of Christmas in the World Showcase. Probably not all of them but a few of them. I also want to see Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade in AK. The regular one is really cool so I hope this one is too. The last thing, but not least, on the list is the Osborne Lights at MGM. I heard that if the park closes at a normal time, say 8 or 9, and Fastasmic is offered that night the Osborne Lights will still be on after Fastasmic. I hope they would still do this because that means you can do all of the night time MGM stuff in one night.

I wish that I was going to the Boardwalk to stay this time...but no go...love the walk to Epcot...except falling on my @ss in flipflops when they wash off the wood planks..it is a great place to people watch...right outside of ESPN...just sit and wait...every few minutes a person/kid will slip..like a stooge on a bananna peel:banana: and it is a riot...if it's not you...

The best is when they try and grab someone else to steady themselves...usually the slickness outsteadies anyone's help and it is like watching the Rockettes...arm in arm..taking out Santa in their Cristmas show...

One time...a whole flock of Brazilians took the big digger...as one would go..the other would try to help...and so on and so on...I thought I was going to pee my pants I was laughing so hard...:lmao:

I know...I am going to Hades...but many of you have laughed too...or fell...:rotfl:

I would need the drink!

So here is a little more detail of the plans after looking at the calendar...this again may change...but...for now..this is what I have...and...we may add a few days on the front of the trip...I mean..leave on a Sunday? Isn't that sacreligious or something? Maybe we wil leave on a Friday...spend some time Sat with friends/see resorts all decorated and relax...then head to the parks on Sunday...

So for now...I have this:

Sunday the 7th -
Hollywood Studios w/ 50's Prime Time for dinner (EMH evening)

Monday the 8th -
MK (EMH evening) with Ohanna's for dinner

Tuesday the 9th -
Epcot morning w/ Biergarten for lunch...then on to MVMCP!

Wednesday the 10th -
AK - (EMH evening) with Jiko for a later dinner (8 ish)

Thursday the 11th -
Nada planned - late morning w/ Boma's for B-fast - visit resorts to see the decorations - hit 1 park at night

Friday the 12th -
Epcot (EMH evening) candelight processonal w/ Chefs de France seating special - Le Cellier for Lunch

Sat the 13th - Epcot wrap up - Tutto Italia lunch - Yachtsman dinner B-day for Treyner -

Sun 14th - Kona's for B-fast for Treyner's B-day

A few questions - do I order a B-day cake for Treyner?? I know they have special ones for him I can get from the GF bakery - but all our dinners include dessert so is it worth it? Should I have it somewhere else besides a dinner resie???

Second - still have 8 TS left? Where else is your fave restaurants???

I hear Boma's is awesome...should I get another morning resie because I will regret it if I do not??? :confused3

I need help people!!!!:worship:

Next up...what to do about CS ?? What do you guys suggest???

We really enjoyed Narcoossee's--food, service and atmosphere were great. You could add it in on the 11th and see the GF decorations. The GF Cafe is also really good, for a late lunch since you want to do a park that night. By the time your dinner would be over at Narcoossee's only Epcot would be open long enough to do anything, I think.

For CS, I like Columbia Harbour House at MK. I also want to try the Yak and Yeti CS at AK. Or do the TS Y&Y on your AK day. Phew, you're right, that's a lot of credits to figure out! What about Beaches and Cream for lunch on your DHS day (just a boat ride away), for a midday break, since it's evening EMH?

We finally decided not to do dh a birthday cake on our last trip, b/c we were on DDP and knew we'd have desserts at every dinner. I did order tuxedo strawberries at Coral Reef (they got another place to do them, but I don't know where) for dh and we had no problem eating those babies plus dessert. There were only 6 strawberries and three of us. I really, really, wanted to get a cake from the GF bakery sometime during the week, but knew we wouldn't eat it even if we had it in the room. I can't waste a $50 cake!

Cake- I think every birthday needs cake. However we didn't eat either cake that I ordered at the restaurant when we were there. Mostly because the servers in both places brought it out so late, when we were ready to leave.

Great idea...quick question...do they have food beyond Fish people can enjoy....??? The other thing is that I think it is a 2 TS location...so we would not be too stuffed...but....I would have to switch around places cause our extra 8 credits is Fr/sat /Sun...hmmm...
But we could do cake there and just pay OOP fpr what we want...small meal maybe...

Great idea again...and that is one spot the kids wantd to go to...but we gace the same issue...credits on the last days...

We will have a 2 bedroom at OKW with a huge fridge..so I keep thinking I should figure out something to do at the beginning of the trip...he can snack on it all week before we head to the POLY on Friday...

Ok Dawn I went to universal two days after christmas and I think you really need two days there. At least one day to do universal studios and another day to do Island of adventure! I think for the kids a must see or rather DO is the Dueling Dragons not really Christmasy but then you can spend some time with the WHO"S and the grinch in Suessville. HINT GO LOOK AT MY TRIP REPORT! The SNUFFSTER IS BEGGING!!!!:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:
We did not make it to universal studios not enough time in the day. OH OH OH do you have a way to get to these places DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE CITY BUS!!! That is how we got half way to universal and we got stranded on a highway beside Sea-world and left for dead well not really but we had been there about 45 minutes and NO bus. A very nice gentleman asked us if we needed a a ride and then he brought us back to our hotel that night. Very affordable. Magic City National Transportation. their number is (407)345-5555 it is only $6.00 per person

We will probably rent a vehicle...Nike outlet down there is Treyner's favorite place in this Universe...

I will let ya know what I figure out...

Dizzy! May I hijack briefly?

This is the longest pre-trip In the history of the world ;)

Thank Goodness for the Kona for breakfast pick for the Birthday Breakfast!

CS do somewhere in World Showcase?
Flame Tree?

What about the new restaurant in AK? I forgot the name. :confused3

On the 7th did you call and get the Fantasmic Package with Mama Melrose? You get priority seating and early entrance and the super easy exit out. :rolleyes1 If you didn't know this, YOU are Welcome!

UM speaks the truth, sister!

Can I suggest Brown Derby instead of Mama Melrose? Just cause it is a birthday/Christmas trip!

Also, do we have a dinner/meet planned? If not, we need to get on that!
