Hi there!!! I’m baaaaack. We had a blast last week! We saw Rango, which we both liked (contrary to the majority of the DISers). We also bowled, played putt-putt and tennis and had lots of fun! I have decided I would rather stay at home and hang with the son than come to work every day.

But, wow! I miss several days around here and missed a lot. 

Thanks for the lamenting of my lack of a tag. Someday, when I least expect it . . . maybe! Or the Terror Turkey will scare the TF into giving me one. 

Pakey – are you still in Hawaii? I hope so – so you can have more time in the cabana with the cabana boys and Mai Tais. Hope your doggie is better.

Alpha Mom – you have the winning post while I was gone. Bottoms with unnatural colors. Yep. Best one.

I like green beer. And green eggs. I like the beer better though.

:wave2: Waving at everybody!!!

Welcome back Wick. I'm glad you had a great stay-cation.

My baby dog is okay. He's one eyed now but he will be fine. I, on the other hand, will take a bit of time to recover from it. It's heartbreaking to see my beautiful dog with stiches where his eye used to be.

I'm back at work and depressed. I'm not depressed over the vacation being over; I'm depressed about how much money I spent. I had a lot of those $15 drinks. :drinking1

My kind of vacation!

I'm depressed just to be back at work.

I missed what happened to your dog. I'm sorry he lost his eye.

Just noticed the "Tag Gate 2011" in your signature -- too funny! :rotfl:

Glad you had a good time, sorry it's over :)

How is he adjusting to one eye? Does he walk into things? Poor little guy! Sorry your vacation is over, doesn't it suck when the bill comes AFTER you are home and the fun is over?

Pakey, that's why you have to go to an all inclusive, like I am. No worries about running out of alcohol or cash!! :thumbsup2

Welcome back Wick. Glad you enjoyed your time with your son.

Hi Snap. Hope you're feeling better soon and Mr. Snap too!

To everyone else -- Hey!

Andy has a cone on his head so he's kind of running into things because of the cone. Honestly, I'm not sure he could really see out of that eye when he had it. His opthamologist said his vision has always been poor in that eye. What happened to him is that his cornea ruptured. This was something that could have happened at any time during the past 5 years that his opthamologist has been treating that eye. But nope, had to happen the morning we were flying to Hawaii. He was not in pain and the eye just looked odd, not awful. So I called my son and asked him to take him in Monday morning.

PK, we stayed Club level and drinks were included as long as we went to the Club room. However, the waiters at the pool don't deliver them for nothing there, LOL. You'd think for what they charge for those private cabana suites, alcohol would be included but not a chance. I tried really hard not to order too many poolside but sometimes I just didn't feel like getting out of the chair.

And this was probably the nicest club level ever. Really puts WDW to shame.

I am physically not capable of spending $15 on one drink. I simply couldn't do it. I'm far too cheap. I hated spending $17/pound for steaks earlier today. DH is going to grill them tonight for our anniversary dinner. He usually buys the steaks so I don't get sticker shock. He's not cheap at all. In fact, he's pretty expensive.

Today is our 13th wedding anniversary. As Snap said, it's been a productive marriage. :lmao:

Pakey, I hope Andy's feeling better.

Happy Anniversary.

I hope your steaks are marvelous!!!

Welcome home Pakey.

$15  I'd be expecting more than a drink from ma cabana boy for that much.

Last time we went to Broadway we had free drink coupons (up to $13). I ordered some fancy drink thinking it was free - it was $19! I said no thank you and got something else. THAT was $14, so it only cost me a dollar! :scared1:

Have I lost my mind and just don't remember -- Snap when did you get a scrollie?! :yay: :worship:

Cabana boys were not cute. None of them. I think that's why they had to charge so much for drinks; they weren't going to be making any money the old fashioned way.

:scared1: I'm so sorry. That's just horrible. Hopefully after a few of those mai tais, they looked a little cuter. Or, at least, you stopped minding the lack of cuteness.

But....but......wait......isn't being cute a job requirement?

Well THAT is a bummer. I agree though -- hopefully the Mai Tais made up for that somewhat.
