Two hours before the show you put your name in a bucket; they sell 27 tickets in the first two rows of the orchestra for $27 each. There was such a mob of people there yesterday we didn't stand a chance of being picked.

We are going to the 7:30 show on 2/27 - it will be BJ's last performance, I'm hoping they do something special at the end.

Hi Scotlass and Wickey!! DH is home today so no time on the computer :sad2:

OMG, snap. Will you still go see the show after that?

hmpppfff... right back at ya! :dance3:

:hippie:

Good morning - made it through the long weekend! I'm getting too old for more than one show in a weekend! :sad2: Crashed yesterday, feeling better today.

SO? How is everyone? (and where is everyone :confused3)

I'm here!!!! Speaking of getting old, I moved wrong this morning, and now my back is killing me. Sheesh. I just got over the last bout of "back-ness." I need a vacation in a warm climate. :rolleyes1

Morning all.

Snap sees a Broadway show and I see a dead rat. Hmmmm, not quite at the same level of FUN.

I'm crabby at work today so I'm trying to find someone to do the BROONY to. Since they won't know what it is, I can't get into trouble.

Wick, I hate when that happens to the back. I did it several years ago moving my doll house to clean and ever since that first time, now I do it maybe twice a year with relative ease.

Morning everyone... or should I say afternoon?

Goodness, our weather is weird lately. Friday it hit 70 - but we had 60mph winds all weekend which sparked wildfires everywhere - and dense smoke shut down the interstate so that our normal fifty minute drive from DC took nearly two hours on the old route, with a max bumper-to-bumper speed of 25mph. What a fun ride, that was.

I don't remember ever having to worry about spreading wildfires here, in the middle of winter, with snow still on the ground in places. Then temps dropped again and today we woke up to 6" of snow and no school. arghhhhhhh.....

Hope you all woke up to better weather. I'm sure some of you did...

Can't speak to the fun level of dead rats but can say live ones aren't on par with a good show either. I'd be more than willing to trade, Snap.

DD21 plopped these guys in DD10's room over a year ago for a 3 week stay while her friends were moving into a new house. Needless to say, they're still here...

:hippie:

It's like ice water down my back to think of not seeing them again - most of the original cast is leaving at the same time as BJ - we have spoken to so many of them after the shows I feel like I know them - I will probably be really depressed next week. :sad2:

Oh gosh, I hate that! I threw my back out while brushing my teeth in August :sad2: and I still have to be careful not to move the wrong way.

Some days you're the hydrant, some days you're the dog. Just keep thinking about the cabana boys in Hawaii

Hi. I'm still sick, but feeling much better than yesterday.

A guy DH works with had their daycare shut down for a month to investigate an accusation of child abuse. So they are without care for their 8mo old son. Guess who's watching him? They are driving from Austin to our house and back again twice a day for a month. Yesterday, when I felt the worst, was the first day. He's a good baby, but seriously, I think have enough to do. I'm hoping they find someone closer soon. The odd thing is, I don't have either of the parent's phone number. I had DH give them mine, but they never gave me theirs. :confused3 And, before Sunday, they had never even met me. I know they must be desparate, us being sick didn't seem to worry them at all. Fingers crossed they find someone else.

You are a hero. Insane. But a hero.

OK, they aren't much cuter alive than dead.

I'm afraid to ask, what do you feed them?

I could have happily lived the rest of my life without seeing that pic :scared1::scared1:

I'm sorry you're crabby. I'm not sure WHAT a BROONY is.

My back goes out now and then . . . but I just finished with the 3 Advil a day. My liver is NOT going to like this.

Yikes! I'm so sorry about your weather! We did wake up to about 50 today, but it was closer to 65 yesterday morning. :)

First -- I hope you are better. I agree that you don't need any more minions (borrowed at least) right now.

They eat Pakey nerves. ;)

:rotfl:

....it's Remy, Emile, and Django!!!:woohoo::banana::woohoo:

That makes it much easier to look at the picture!

Dancemom, rats are cute as long as they aren't in my house. Eventually, S's snake should be able to eat them. But, those will be frozen. Right now, there are over 50 pinkie mice in my freezer.

Oh YUMMMMM... maybe I didn't miss anything after all by not coming when invited for Thanksgiving dinner... :rolleyes1

and FTR as snakes get bigger the meals aren't always frozen. DD21 has two of those also but they have to live at her DBF's. I tolerate enough critters. Let his mom deal with the reptiles...
