I'll take Pakey's chocolate covered strawberries and send her flowers.

Jeff Dunham was phenomenal. Guitar Guy and Trombone Guy opened for him. What a great way to start the night. I laughed so hard during Jeff's act that, well... I had to get up and run for the bathroom. He was talking about being a kid growing up and how his parents wouldn't pay for him to have a professional portfolio done, so he used to bring his dummies into school on picture day and get his photo taken with them. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: And then he showed the pictures! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: He also shared a story about his daughter that was hysterical. His puppet act consisted of Walter, Peanut, Jose Jalapeno and Achmed. And then he brought out a new character -- AJ --Achmed Jr. Not sure I like the new character so much. :confused3 He's apparently half blown up and half not (due to an accident with Achmed) and was raised in England after Achmed abandoned him (or something like that). It was funny, but not hilarious. Would definitely see his show again.

Just returned from the dentist. I'd rather see a show on Broadway.

Wick, I'm trying to lose weight too and for the first year in 27 Valentines Day with my husband, he didn't send me flowers. He sent me chocolate covered strawberries. Further proof that he doesn't listen to a word I say.

getting those is better than the alternative.

I'll be here in the morning!

It's morning already... moving into evening even...

HELLLLOOOOO

Do I hear an echo in here? My gosh it's empty today. :confused3 Where's everybody at??? Too much rum & choco strawberries methinks...

Sorry, we went to see American Idiot again today. Then we stuck around to see if we could win the lottery for the evening show. No luck, just came home, made dinner (eggplant parmigiana) and am in the process of downloading some videos from last night and today. :upsidedow

How was everyone's weekend?

Hey Scotlass how the heck are ya?! Good to see you again. Welcome back.

Hi, snap! Glad you were able to see AI again! When is your next show?

Hi, scotlass! How are you?

Ignoring everyone else. :)

Nice, quiet weekend. Spent most of yesterday on the couch with a book, watching golf (I know . . . but WE like it!) with a glass of wine. Wish I were back on the cough though.

What is this lottery you speak of? :confused3 Are you going on the 27th?

Two hours before the show you put your name in a bucket; they sell 27 tickets in the first two rows of the orchestra for $27 each. There was such a mob of people there yesterday we didn't stand a chance of being picked.

We are going to the 7:30 show on 2/27 - it will be BJ's last performance, I'm hoping they do something special at the end.

Hi Scotlass and Wickey!! DH is home today so no time on the computer :sad2:

Good morning - made it through the long weekend! I'm getting too old for more than one show in a weekend! :sad2: Crashed yesterday, feeling better today.

SO? How is everyone? (and where is everyone :confused3)
