Okay...I think I have now gotten through most of your PTR. Here are some comments and I will keep up in the future so I don't get so far behind.

The intro was great...I love the picture of you and Joe from last year's portrait.

We LOVE Yak & Yeti. We went when it first opened in 2008 and it was great; we've not been able to get back since then, but we are going this year.

Our hopes is that there is a MNSSHP on Tuesday, the 27th, and we are going with Mary and the girls.

Your daily plans sound great. HOWEVER, you need to change Day 8 for after dinner at the Wave that you are DEFINITELY going to Downtown Disney because you and Joe have a date with us for a drink at Fulton's at 8:30 that evening. We can't wait to see you again.

Just an FYI....when you call a resort, you really ARE NOT getting the resort. You are getting the call center which sees the call is coming into the POFQ and that is how they answer. And the CM's really have NO clue about a lot of things. For a good six to nine months after CSR got queen beds, they were sitll telling people it was two full beds.

Ultimately, when the time gets a bit closer I will see what airfare is like. I think that is going to decide it. I know the cost is going to help push me... but I really wanted to be away from home on Christmas. And to be in WDW on my birthday??!! I thought that would be cool too. Luckily, I have a bit of time

Hiya

Today was the day! Of course, I got up super duper early and way before it was time to make our ADR's.

First, I set up my laptop thinking that I could make on line ressies at the same time.

Next, I got out all my chicken scratch notes and set up my desk.

Lastly, I sat and waited....and waited....and waited....for 7 a.m. to get here.

A few minutes before 7 I thought I'd go on line and see if I could make an ADR or two. Well, I could only make them for our day of arrival...not 180 +10! See, I didn't need any on day of arrival because Jenn already made our ADR for that night.

It was finally 7 a.m. and I called and got the dang automated line to make ADR's. After getting frustrated I promptly hit zero...gimme a real person already. I got "Gemini".....where do they come up with these names anyway?

So Gemini was cool. She said we'd make them all then go back and do the credit card guarantee for those that needed it and she'd give me my confirmation numbers.

September 16th

Kona for dinner - Jenn booked this one

September 17th

Kona for breakfast - Jenn booked this one -- yeah, I know, we were just there but I have always wanted to try it for dinner and it is tradition for us to eat breakfast there on our anniversary. I love it!

Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner - Jenn booked this one

September 18th

Cali Grille for dinner with Stef and Dave. We got a great time too so we will be able to see Wishes from the observation deck. Jenn told me today that they will be there that night too. I didn't know that!

September 19th

Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch with Stef and Dave

The Plaza for dinner - just Joe and I. We have never eaten at the Plaza before so I'm looking forward to this.


September 20th

Crystal Palace for dinner - Jenn made this one. We're eating here before MNSSHP

September 21st

Sci Fi for lunch - Jenn made this one. We have not been to the Sci Fi in forever. The food sucks but the atmosphere is fun.

Teppen Edo for dinner - Jenn made this one. We're all going together ... Joe and I, Jenn and her family and Stef and Dave. This should be a blast~

September 22nd

Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package for dinner with Stef and Dave. Last year our dinner time was super early. This year we scored 5 p.m. which I thought was great.

September 23rd

Maya Grille for breakfast. Joe and I have never been here for breakfast and I am really anxious to try it. We had fantastic service both times that we were there for dinner and the food was awesome. I think it's one of those hidden gem places.

The Wave for dinner. Another first for us. We had an ADR there last year and canceled while we were there. I can't wait to try it now especially after reading all of the reviews and TR's out there.

September 24th

Rose and Crown for dinner with Stef and Dave. Another first for Joe and I. Really looking forward to this and hoping that we get an outside table so that we can watch Illuminations from there.

September 25th

CP for breakfast before the park opens. I love taking empty park pictures. We do this one every year.

Grand Floridian Cafe for dinner with my friend Tami and her family. I got a table for 9 at the time we wanted. I couldn't believe it.

September 26th

Ohana for breakfast with Stef and Dave. We have not been here for years and I am so excited to go back.

HI Stef. It is horrible at work to say the least. In this economy I can't figure out why it is taking me so long to add people to my team. I had three open positions and so far have filled 2 of them but sheesh, my work days are ridiculously long these days. I hope to get back to DISing soon though so that I can catch up!

So I haven't done a real update in what feels like forever.

Things have been just crazy here lately. Work is totally nuts and while I am happy to have a job, I can't seem to keep up. I am hiring for my team right now and thank God I have two of my three open positions filled but the training to get everyone up to speed also takes some time.

I have three months to finish my getting my credits to renew my certification and that is taking up every minute of my free time these days.

To top it all off, Joe and I are not feeling well. He's super sick and is going to a minute clinic or urgent care when he gets up this morning. What stinks is that we wanted to go last night and they all closed at 6. It was 6:30 when we were out looking for one. We could have gone to the ER but the co-pays are insane and he felt he could wait one more night.

I hope to be back with a real update soon.
