So excited they are building wet n wild in Sydney!!! I sent applications for my ds's to work there next summer! Supposed to open December 2013! I drive past the site everyday and they haven't turned a sod!
I said to my boys that they have to come with us when it opens, they will be 16, as it maybe a bit weird for two middle agers to go on their own!:) (I offered to drive and pay)

You're the second person I known so excited about Wet N Wild opening in Sydney, I was wondering if they'd just decided to rename Kings Cross Wet N Wild :rotfl2:

We don't have anything like that up here in Nth Qld. I don't know why. I wish we did, though. We need somewhere that'll keep us safe from crocodiles.

On a brighter note, we caught the mouse from the box in the Striker trap :cool1:

On a sad note, one of our favourite teacher aides gets buried today.

Really? I've got friends in Baulkham Hills who were telling me about it a couple of months ago, I got the feeling from the way they were talking about it, it was almost complete...

**snicker** eeeew... :rotfl:

Yeah it makes sense to have something like that up there. The weather definitely makes more sense there anyway...

 about the teacher's aide.

Awful to hear on the news this morning about the U.S Ambassador in Libya being assassinated. It's a sad world in which we live.

But, we can always bring some Disney joy to the world.

Oh, and go Shiane on XFactor . I think she's so sweet and innocent.

For the AFL supporters.....

My footy barracking season was over last weekend when Geelong got beat. So, my focus will be next year.

But here's the question of the night.....is it wrong to be barracking for that black and white team that I don't particularly like? Only because they are the only Victoria team left????

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

They're the only Victorian team this weekend, looking forward to the GF- GO HAWKS!!!

I'm stressing about getting into Uni.

Damn me and my 17 year old self that thought HSC... who cares! I am glad in a sense that I was not in the right head space to do well in the HSC and do well at uni. I like so many 17 year olds also had no idea what I wanted to do with my life.

So now here I am, applied to get in and they are asking for proof of English proficiency. After panicking and a few phone calls I have now found out that year 10 will be good enough, especially since I had a reasonable mark.

Now I have to:
  • Finish up chasing a reference from my old work
  • Find or get a new copy of my School Certificate transcript
  • Sit the STAT test this Saturday :crazy2:

Oh, MumfromOz - I wish you could tell that to my 17year old DD - has the capability - but more interested in having fun, its all I can do to keep her at school, she would happily leave and work at Woolworths!!!

I have 12months to go!!!! :sad::sad:

But once you have a goal, it makes all the difference, I am sure things will work out for you!
