I've been following one of the threads about the wait time it's crazy and as we are there the week AP holders can come back in we have decide to spend 3 nights at probably PP unless a discount comes out there is no way I am lineing up for that long and the kids would be devastated if they didn't get to ride the cars rides at least once

I'm sitting here at Perth airport with the kids DH's plane is late so I thought wewould have a Hot chocolate $16:50 later for 3 I'm really glad we choose not to do this on a regular basis and do Disney instead

Very sad news today.
Anyone who has been to Dreamworld over the past 17 years or so would have likely seen Mohan. A beautiful White Bengal Tiger.
At 17 years of age Mohan passed away today from kidney disease

Dreamworld got 6 cubs in I guess 1995. Three sets of twins.
I was in my early teens and queensland was still our go to place every year or so.
We saw Mohan as a cub. Then as he grew up. Then after he became a father to Sultan, Taj, Rama and Sita. (yes I know all the names off the top of my head)

He was always such a beautiful animal and ambassador for his breed.

I haven't been to queensland for years now. Getting older, Aussie dollar getting better, Australian accom going through the roof, Disney and having a long distance relationship has changed this. Although I hope to take DBF one day.

RIP beautiful Mohan.

Has anyone seen this website?

Someone showed it to me today, it was shown to her son at school. The school made all of the kids do it to see what putting too much info on facebook can do. It's really quite freaky but I sat my son down this afternoon and got him to log in to his FB page so he could see it. It gave me chills and made me remove the apps I use or have used on FB so they don't have access to any of my info!

Yes! It is SO creepy isn't it! But we all approve those apps, allowing them access to our info, farmville, cityville, those annoying answer questions all the kids seem to do and we have no idea who is looking at our info once we click that allow button!

I've awoken facing an adventure/dilemma, parts of my work town under water, roads are closed all over the place, the main rd goes over a drain that always floods, so checking if I can even get into work.
Can't be late home tonight either as DS has a school performance, would break his heart if I missed it...

Going to ring them soon, 30 homes have been evacuated...

Wow, that's not good! I hope you don't have to be evacuated. You don't want to get stuck at work either! Hopefully you won't have to go to work and can stay home.

Well, off I go, but I told them if theres a chance I can't get home i'm leaving early, heaps of people haven't made it in though, the good thing is (at this stage) is alot of their homes are on stumps and not slabs, so they're a bit higher off the ground yet...
